How in the hell do you put Wayne above Em in any category really.

I am a big hip-hop fan and I am a fan of JAY-Z and Eminem. I think when it comes to pure technical skill, Eminem is better but to say that Jay Z can’t compete with him is ridiculous. He clapped back at Nas and Nas is arguably one of the best lyricist of all time. He may have lost, but he still put up a fight. And let’s face it and be honest, ether wasn’t Nas greatest lyrical display either. It was more about what he said, and who he said it to then about crazy intricate bars. I think it came to a battle with Eminem and Jay Z. Eminem would win, but Jay Z is no slouch.
Listen to D.O.A and A Star is Born by Jay. Then listen to Seduction by Eminem. In A Star is Born, Jay gives a shout to Em, but it sounded like a backhanded compliment. I always felt like that because of what he said and how he said it. Plus, he goes on to say he's one of one, putting himself above everyone he mentioned. Knowing Em, that's enough to get a shot back. On Seduction, Em is talking about a top rapper, who he's better than and stealing the game from. In the second verse he starts mimicking Jay's adlib from D.O.A. He also says "I'm the logo on that Dallas Cowboys helmet... A star!" and asks "What you hollerin' my name for?" It makes so much sense that he's talking about Jay now. I never thought about until now, even though those were my two favorite albums back then. Credit to GOAT Worthy (a reaction channel) for his video talking about it. Check those songs out!
