Xu Kaicheng was asked about what he thinks to be the funniest moment on set, and he said it was this moment when the emperor asks for the eunuch to hit him. Apparently, it was William’s idea for the emperor to ask for a beating from his eunuch (it wasn’t in the original script, William suddenly thought of the idea and suggested it - note the moment in the video when the lightbulb appeared by William’s head). So he conveyed his idea to the eunuch, and they decided to adopt it. All the while, when the actors where rehearsing, he was teaching/egging on the eunuch to hit the emperor really really hard, and he couldn’t stop laughing when they acted out the scene in front of him, even when the camera was rolling and he was supposed to hold in his laughter as it would be totally out of character for Fang Jianming to be laughing out loud in the drama, he says he simply can’t hold it in.
@@samira3696 I think , Yang Mi's voice should be dubbed too because her voice is too nasally. Young Haishe's voice is soft, but adult Haishe's voice turned nasal , annoying.
