    In the traditional latin mass during the elevation (our first sight of the consecrated host) the faithful silently say to themselves "my Lord and my God". It makes even greater sense now. Thank you.

    Does Granville sharps rule go against the idea that Thomas is calling Jesus God but referring to two people. I believe only one here but just in discussion.

    GOD IS GOOD HE REVEALS EVERYTHING IN HIS WORKS THROUGH HIS DISCIPLES
    THOUGH TOMAS KEPT THE COMMANDS OF JESUS NOT TO BE DECIEVED IF SOMEONE SAID CHRIST WAS HERR OR THERE DO NOT BELIEVE, TOMAS IS THE MANIFESTATION OF HOW TO DOUBT WHO WILL BE THE FALSE CHRIST OR THE REAL CHRIST
    BELIEVING ALONE THROUGH HOLY SPIRIT WHO REVEALS TRUTH WHO IS YESHUA IS EVEN MAN DIDNT SEE AND HE IS LORD AND ONLY GOD FOREVER AND EVER AMEN..

    Doubting Thomas is probably the best proof that Jesus died when you are debating Muslims who believe that Jesus did not die on the cross and that Allah took Jesus to heaven and put someone on the cross that looked like him. Yep. Jesus is alive and well with Allah in Muslim heaven. You just point to Thomas in the bible. Why? Because he doubted Jesus was resurrected because Thomas knew that Jesus was DEAD...

      They cunningly say Thomas meant Oh my god oh my Lord as an exclamation when in shock

    • @FlowLai

      They will say that the Gospel of John is unreliable since it was written later. But really the synoptics show Jesus's divinity as well, esp as prophet priest and king. Just in a more subtle way.
      But yes the Gospel of John is incredible. The most Eucharistic of the Gospels I think.

      @osamamanan2723 ปีที่แล้ว

      We dont actually believe that whats written about Thomas is correct. He might be a liar who claimed to have seen Jesus for fame. We dont have historically preserved proof that he saw jesus. We have to match the date when they met. And we need to know who narrated this story, was he even there when Thomas claimed to have met jesus. We also have to complete the chain of narration from john to thomas as some anonymous person john has written it. In islam we have all answers about who heard from prophet Muhammad, who heard it afterwards from that narrator, was the one attributing something to Prophet a truthful person or not. The biography of narrators with dates etc. That is strength of islam i.e. chain of narration.

      So this al..h seems quite devious and crooked like his followers?
      Why would he take another innocent man and make him suffer. What would be the purpose of making a random innocent man suffer and die? It would be pointless. But then what else would you expect ....

  • @tonyhayes9827

    Yes; belief is a fruit of God's grace and when you think about it, it has to be otherwise we are all Thomas - our human nature demands physical evidence, i.e. evidence in the flesh so to speak but as Jesus said to Peter happy are you Simon for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, meaning our human nature. Why? Because it can't. So if you believe, feel blessed indeed, because as St. Paul said No-one can Jesus is Lord unless the spirit is in him (yeah I know, her as well)

  • @mjramirez6008

    His confesion is beautiful but St. Peter's or St. Martha's are better, St. Thomas was after all looking at the *resurrected* Lord.
