Im betting on managers and i think Michael Carrick will take boro up. Last season his squad was devistated and went on to have a brilliant finnish and got brilliant results against top six teams.
Think it can still change a bit before the end of August. Could be some big signings that could shift teams like Sunderland up the standings. Particularly if they can sign a good goal scorer. Last season they were too reliant on Clarke for goals and teams were doing their best to mark him out of the game, which meant the team slipped down the table. A good No 9 would make all the difference and get them into the playoffs IMO
as a sunderland fan it is very difficult to predict, we could finish anywhere. Last season we had no play style just get it Jack Clarke and hope he can beat players and score. Now with Regis he has came in with a playstyle and more attacking minded which is exactly what we want. Whether it works out or not is a different story ahaha
Bogle and Rothwell both look good in Pre-season we will also use Joseph more this season plus the return of Wober and Aaronson is like having 2 new signings. Bench is stronger than last season and system will be different.
Agree about Millwall. Contrary to, say, the three newly promoted teams, they have so many Championship proven players, and I'm certain that they'll at least finish higher than any of those three plus Plymouth. I cannot see them much lower than 18th, and I have them around mid-table. On the other hand, if Pompey don't bring in more players with Championship pedigree they could be in trouble. Their starting fixtures are really tough and could take the sting out of any momentum that they carry following their impressive League One campaign.

@@louisduty3962 gracious words. I think we were disgraceful last season, no excuses whatsoever. I’ve little faith in Wilder after his last two seasons as manager. Well you know that the bookies will choose teams like Leeds United, Middlesbrough, West Brom, Watford, Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers, Burnley, Coventry City and few others to get promoted back to the Premier League.
Interesting looking at last seasons bookies predictions they got one right for promotion and 1 right for relegation so it proves its not the final nail for any team or fan watching.

17th 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
we know its a bit of fun but the transfer window is still open so the predictions mean nothing yet
QPR fan. Based on what's happened so far, I would be thrilled with 14th. So far, no goals. No reason to panic, In Marti we trust. U Rsssss

22. Blackburn Rovers (R)
23. Oxford United (R)
24. Derby County (R)
Sunderland biggest issue is their owner. Fires gaffers like he knows the game. They’ll go towards top, lose 3 then fire. Owner needs to go skiing for the season and stay away from the team
Parachute payments are 3 years, Watford still benefit from them
But are they not 2 years for teams that were only the premier league for 1 year
Millwall to go down?? 💀
The bookiees know nothing
@@ArnoldThompson-pp5 They know enough to make money on these kinds of things, but yeah, they're not always right of course.
I got west brom 1st cov 2nd
Leeds - mid-table finish. Norwich relegated to League One.
The bookies follow the money not the clubs! Bigger spenders up top lower spenders at bottom
Exactly, I feel Cardiff have been underrated a lot in predictions due to all the signings being frees and loans so far even though they are high level players for this level
All these people predicting rovers are getting relegated because Sammie smodzics is leaving FML. People said the same thing when Adam Armstrong left, they said the same thing when Diaz left now the same record is being played again give me a chuffing break. Chaos has reigned at Blackburn since the chicken pluckers took over a decade ago. Well we will see may next year if your predictions are correct maybe some of you will be eating humble pie but I doubt. At least burgey has backed us but maybe that’s a bad thing lol
I'm getting excited now, this is my Championship predictions
1st Burnley
2nd Leeds United
3rd Luton Town
4th West Brom
5th Sheffield United
6th Coventry City
7th Norwich City
8th Middlesbrough
9th Sheffield Wednesday

11th Hull City
12th Portsmouth
13th Sunderland
14th Watford
15th Stoke City

24th Cardiff City
Cardiff bottom ???
Plymouth relegated. Brilliant. Every position above the bottom 3 will be a bonus for us.
Let’s get behind Wazza and the boys💪💚
Millwall prediction is terrible
Comment paranoia is real. Why tell us what bookies' pricing strategies are when the info is readily available? Sophie referring to 'a vested interest' as "invested interest" in the Euros was gold

I don't think Plymouth can stay up thus time, too smaller club with too little funding. Not to mention Rooney
Luton is a small club....it can be done
Please keep saying Oxford are going down on previous predictions we'll end up Champions!
Sheffield Wednesday could be SURPRISE candidates for RELEGATION.
I don’t think so, not with Danny in charge
I don’t think that”ll be a surprise to a lot of people. They finished well last year but will struggle for sure.
They won’t finished above Plymouth and neither will Portsmouth. Oxford will find it tough but good luck to them.
Other strugglers could be the Welsh teams and Bristol. Hull finished badly as well. Derby unconvincing but probably the best of the promo teams
I dont see Rohl just dipping in performance for no apparent reason
I mean, Rohl has had mid-table form at the end of the season for Shef Wed, and I think they'll be mid-table this season
Wednesday are the hebephiles of Yorkshire
Plymouth, the largest city in England never to have played top flight football.
And you're point is ???
@@andrewcoxhead6451 There was no point. Just thought it was a useless piece of trivia.
As a Leeds fan, can we stop all these finish as Champions predictions, we ate programmed to know, there's an easy way, a hard way and then there's the Leeds way, we break records nobody else wants!!
I said Luton town wins 2nd leeds then play offs Norwich relegation sheffield whedneys day poutsmouth and Oxford united
