@@_Kekke Listen to the _original_ version from 2014: th-cam.com/video/BPnwzaRXeQw/w-d-xo.html that style is more like what you'd hear on every radio station. Seriously though, why is 99% of all music on every radio station a future bass track? I want to listen to a mainstream radio station, and hear even just _ONE_ literally just _ONE_ hardstyle or UK hardcore track, even if it's the only one in the next 50 years. JUST ONE track would be enough. I also hate how every single week that the UK Singles Chart is announced, in the Top 100 singles, there has _NEVER_ been a single hardstyle of UK hardcore track at all in the last 10 years or so. Not even scraping the #100 spot. For people who think UK hardcore is "too fast" for the normal people, then, maybe. But come on, if we don't have a UK hardcore track in the charts, why the heck can't we at _least_ have a tune that has a bpm of 140 or higher? You know, like we had in the 2000s? This stupid slow as shit boring future bass crap every single day. Go into some club in the 2000s, and you'd hear things like Ultrabeat, Cascada, Stunt, etc, with relatively fast (140-150 bpm) kicks. Not only were they faster, they were harder. Listen to a big room track, and it's more of a kind of boom sound, but it's so flat. Where are the old phat pounding kicks that literally punched you in the gut? I'll tell you where it is. It's still around. It's just the nobody gives a shit. I mean, literally listen to something like Diamonds by Timmy Trumpet. It's technically hardstyle, but the sound is more of a mixture of eurotrance and hardstyle, with a hint of Timmy Trumpet's signature Melbourne bounce sound... but most fucking importantly, it's 150 bpm. Not 128 bpm. Or 125 bpm. Now listen to some boring shitty piece of crap by Drake that can't sing for shit. I bet you Drake will be #1 and Timmy Trumpet won't even make the Top 100. 12-18 years ago, we had Basshunter, Cascada, Ultrabeat, all had #1s in the UK. They were mainstream. they were played in radio stations. Now most of the time, they're pretty much forgotten, until you accidentally come across a recent music video they released (or if you decided to search them up out of curiosity to find they've actually been making music all the time, but none of them have actually been advertised, so you've missed about 10 years worth of good music). Darren Styles used to be in the charts a few times, particularly his collaborations with Mark Breeze, such as Heartbeatz (although mainly the slower Eurotrance version as opposed to the original Hardcore version). The same with the slower version of Discolights (with Ultrabeat), and Manian's remix of Outta My Head. All of these became mainstream enough to probably be played on radio stations and appear in the Now That's What I Call Music series. Darren Styles however, has never really stopped making music. He's had released probably every single year, since the early-mid 1990s. What's stupid is it doesn't even seem like a slow gradual shift. Unlike the last 10 years, where it's like 2010 - the early forms of big room is starting and progressive house is popular 2011 - progressive house is becoming more popular 2012 - progressive house still seems to be popular, but shitty brostep is also very popular 2013 - big room is popular 2014 - big room is still popular but bass house is becoming popular 2015 - big room is less popular, bass house is becoming more popular, and tropical house is starting 2016 - big room is pretty much approaching death, bass house is not as popular, tropical house is getting more popular 2017 - tropical house everywhere, future bass is becoming popular 2018 - tropical house is still popular, future bass is even more popular 2019 - future bass 2020 - future bass.... still Where as before that, instead of a genre slowly dying out as another becomes more popular, with some overlap, it felt like this. 2003 - early 2010 - Eurodance and Hands Up is popular And what seems almost literally overnight.... those 140-150 bpm thumping high energy hard trance sounds are just wiped out completely, and suddenly, it's all dirty dutch music, like Swedish House Mafia. Fuck Martin Garrix and The Chainsmokers. I want fucking Angerfist, Sefa and Dr Peacock to be #1!
Reactivate i heard for first time. Now listened quickly few tracks. I love you man grateful yt showed me you. Very amazing uplifting remixes. Keep it up.
I can't believe there are actually artists that still make this type of music. Almost all the good hardcore or hands up artists either have retired, or just jump on the bandwagon of tropical house, or big room, or just generic mainstream "EDM".
But then you get artists that do the opposite. You get the occasional "mainstream" EDM artists, or even non-EDM artists who have been involved in hardstyle, or even (happy) hardcore. Although some of them _are_ remixes, they are often official remixes, as opposed to bootlegs. Lil Jon, Ty$, Becky G, for example, have all provided vocals on hardstyle tracks, or official hardstyle remixes of tracks.
Hardcore has gone no where, it never has. Its constantly evolving. some could say that the powerstomp movement is the one keeping hardcore alive but the truth is the raves are still there and growing. there is also a lot of new talent it just takes the best part of a decade before they'll get regular main stage time
Jack Cavanagh The truth is that, although hardcore still exists, you might notice that it's staying underground. None of it is getting famous. It's our own little group. It depends on the person whether that's a good or bad thing. I, for one, would love for the revolution that happened to dubstep to happen to hardcore.
Horus Khan it happened in 96/97 with force and styles. if tracks like pacific sun, pretty green eyes or paradise and dreams wasn't played then people would just loose interest, then the tracks where held back so long that by the time they where released they didn't get anywhere because the buzz around them had passed. (more of a quote from a DJ rather than first hand knowledge) but it would make sense why i cant find a copy of pacific sun on vinyl anywhere. and when the revolution with dubstep happened it killed off their scene. the only 2 EDM genres that wont go anywhere are house and hardcore because theyre the ones that constantly evolve
i hear the voice from villain in my ears , its time for da tweeeekaaaaaaz ! bambambambambam surrounded by thousands of crazyhardstyleheads a beatyfull stragergirl on my shoulders and tears of joy in my eyes . defqon were home
Hullensian They may do so, but Da Tweekaz did put more elements in it, I mean, compare those 2 together, the remix from Da Tweekaz is fuller than this track, I miss some parts on this one. But still a very good track.
(Ik, data) No, he is still alive, and he is still playing his masterpieces at rave parties like Creamfields. No uploading on TH-cam doesn't mean that someone has quitted out from everything. Check out his Facebook profile.
my god damn what a tune ♥ love it
Why is this not on the charts, is so amazing. Literally chart style stuff. Amazing
+DJAppyD ikr, if this would be a house beat you would hear this on every radio station!

Exactly it sucks. This music remains epic.
For example Showtek (such a edm band).

Remix by Da Tweekaz ...

Ananth Kamath don't, keep the language clean please.
Joeri Leeuwen fuck u clean language
I say, old boy. That's some rude vocabulary you are using there. Care for a little bit of decent language would you?
FRlXOVER ...is shite.

Great track and better than the Da Tweekaz remix.
