you don’t want to have off-road assist on while driving on roads, it turns off stability and abs off. It is useful starting in deep snow or uphill
Looks like a fun family drive and showcases Model Y excellent all weather operation. Every car model (ICE or EV) always have a few things to watch in cold snowy weather. Also glad to hear that Im not the only one who groans (3:19)when getting out of the car during a snowstorm/ cold foul weather!
@thomasandriesen443 I feel as I'm getting older... I groan just getting up and off my office chair now 😂
The last time I watched your videos was 3-4 yrs ago when you guys were driving home from the US during the pandemic. All that craziness now seems like a blur!
Good to see you Canadians always have winter tires on. It makes such a big difference.
Love the vlog, i also have an sti and i just purchased a model y! 👍🏾
Thanks for sharing. Looks like an awesome place. Good tips about the snow since we don't get it consistently here in the Seattle area, I wouldn't know about those functions for when it does show up.
I can tell that you enjoy making this video. And it was well done with the combination of informative, humor and even drone shots. Great Job!
@PackFan-tv5pj Thank you 🙏
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us all. We have a Model Y also and i love taking road trips aswell.
Thank you 🙏
What a pleasure to watch you post a video..
@ohhkidda_official 🙏
Leon, love your videos you should post more often
Holy smokes that snow! 😅
Great video!
I like the new text graphics you added at the bottom and side for supercharger information. Maybe leave it up for 2 seconds longer?? I had to go back on a couple to finish reading what you had. Otherwise, I loved the addition!
@MyTeslaTrek I appreciate the feed back and def will do in the future
Awesome drive! I'm from Ottawa and did a trip to Boston followed by Providence, RI. Highly recommend RI. Great little state!
@andrewduong5678 Nice! Definitely will do that next time we drive to Boston again
@@LeonChai Newport, Rhode Island has a super nice beach. Preferred that over Cape Cod when I was there! More of a summer adventure though.
Marko Siintomaa YT channel, Nissan Leaf range (mostly highway, no snow on road):
NDEC: 350 km (233 miles)
EPA: 341 km (212 miles)
WLTP: 280 km (177 miles)
-20 °C/-4 °F preheated: 189 km (117 miles)
-31 °C/-24 °F preheated: 102 km (63 miles) (143 km or 89 miles indicated at start)
Looks like you went over the peace bridge. I saw buffalo city hall
Got caught in a snow storm and our Model Y handled the snow / ice really good!
Rwd?
Info on your wheel and tire package?
Thanks for sharing your adventures, definitely taking down some notes.
@mikobel7131 I'm pretty happy with the set up.. 19" rep...gun metal in colour on Continental Viking tires

Did you pre-condition prior to getting to the Superchargers, in other words, did you have superchargers in your Tesla map telling you when to stop and charge so it can start preconditioning for you?
@junehanzawa5162 Yup... every approaching supercharge... it started a preconditioning
Do you carry spare tire during a long travel?
@ritacristobal1285 no, just a pump and plug kit. I prob will in the future
4:33 Your battery is already at 72% and you are preparing to fast charge? Just curious! Thanks for the cool vid, sir!
@fredsalter1915 Thank you! We didn't know AutoCamp had a charger onsite... just wanted to make sure we had enough energy to get us around when we arrived.
@@LeonChai Prudent enough!
What’s the perception of Tesla and EVs in general in Ontario. I get so much flak from ICE people in Alberta. Are people in Ontario generally respectful and positive?
@matttm3 for the most part I feel the majority are respectful and esp now that you see so many ev's on the road..
