Tha Imperial Listen to Dj Premier talk about M.O.P... in the 90’s they were the ones who got excited when there was a fight at the club and were no strangers to fights and violence. They are chill dudes now but their music wasn’t to create an illusion.

People mature over time. They were exposed to people and cultures outside of their Brooklyn borough and grew as men. They still got the same heart tho. No doubt. Marksmen!

Billy understood that@1:24. Good, because I also believe their core wasn't happy about that move. I myself wasn't too convinced that it was going to work. G-Unit at that time was Hot and street but with a glossie look, while MOP has always been define as RAW with no shiny edges. I think the deal was ahead of its time and people werent ready for it. At the time it seemed like gunit was industry and it took time for 50s grand plan to show he was for the culture. And like his strategy or not 50 became a culture icon 💪

Best live show I've ever seen was M.O.P. at the Apache Cafe in Atlanta back in 2011

Glad they left. But they are still humble. M.O.P. is one of the best groups in hiphop.

I think that out of respect 50 gave MOP and Mobb Deep an opportunity on a different lane to try to make some bread on. But although both groups didn’t stay long they definitely appreciated Fif’s extended hand.
