I love the tradition of ladies-only baby showers. It's a special treat to see women come together to celebrate and prepare for the new arrival. While co-ed showers are becoming more common, there's something unique and joyful about the ladies-only gathering. ❤❤❤

All the baby showers I’ve been to in the last few years include the guys and from what I’ve noticed, they really don’t want to be there anyway! 🤷♀️

Both are fine. Whatever the parents prefer!
My daughter had a shower at her church. Mostly women. Got lots of beautiful things. But a friend had another shower for her that was mostly couples. They cooked on the grill and ask everyone to just bring diapers, any size. She lined them up across the closet by size and even with twins did not buy diapers for the longest time. I thought it was the neatest idea.

It looked like a camouflage theme to me… was Austin in on that? 😂 Getting that boy broke in from the start! Beautiful shower. Great to see Granny there! The food and the tables /presentation was exquisite! I wanted one of those cupcakes.. bad! .. real bad!!😂
I grew up with ladies-only baby showers too.
The way it should be, in my opinion.
I love watching a church group set up for an important event - sharing love for one another and creating a memorable event without extraordinary cost.

Such a nice shower Corie. How sweet of Austin’s family to come down and do this. You all have had so much in your plates lately. It’s so awesome to see the two families coming together to take care of each other. Corie, you and Katie have always looked identical to me, but it’s uncanny how alike you girls look right now. I have to look twice now to see who I’m watching. If you girls are not talking in the video, I can’t always tell who I’m looking at right now. What a nice shower Thanks for letting us come along.. It was so nice to see the old traditions of a baby shower again. It was so tastefully done and beautiful decorations. How fitting that both grandmothers got to help with everything and enjoyed being a part of it all. Thank You Corie for allowing us TH-camrs to enjoy it all along with you and Austin. It made my day to get to watch and see Granny in better health and joining in you all's celebration. Much love to you and Katie as you go through life and take us all a long with you. God Bless.

How true... seems like last week that I was at my shower, it was 38 years ago. Time flies!
My baby boy just turned 18. I miss those early years SO much. They are precious.
Corie, your Mother-in-law (or as our family says "Mother-in-love) is so very talented at decorating! She made the fruit and food trays so pretty. The pepperoni rose was gorgeous! Glad you all had a good time and were surrounded by family.💚👩❤️👨👨👩👦

Our baby showers are just for the women too. It's just the tradition for us. Everything looked so beautiful. Thank you Lord for surrounding this young family with the love and support of family and friends, Amen.🙏
Our bridal showers are also women only. Someone may have a couples party, but I’m unaware of that. Women supporting and blessing women!

Corie, I loved seeing the older traditional ladies only baby shower. Dads would come after it was over to help with the gift loading. :) The shower theme was soo fitting & beautifully decorated and the gifts well received & appreciated. I wondered about the unique wall pictures.. would love to see them up close & personal after they're hung. I loved seeing granny there pretty in pink & looking well. TY for sharing your day and allowing us to enjoy it too. God Bless & Love Y'all.

I am usually very traditional & don't like changes but love the idea of men attending showers & no one being excluded from events. I absolutely love everything about the shower being beautifully decorated & delicious foods attractively displayed. Some very talented people it looks professionally done. I don't even care for the color green & loved it all. Very impressed!
What a beautiful shower. Y’all are very blessed to both have in-laws that love you each as their own. Your baby boy has had more prayers prayed for him before he gets here than sadly some have their entire life. Love y’all….I may not physically meet any of you on this side of Heaven, but I’ll definitely get a hug in our true home one day ❤️ congratulations on the awesome gifts and the new ride 😁

If I ever have a special occasion I would want all the ladies that had anything to do with your shower to cater it and decorate for me! Everything was so pretty and perfect. The banner, the plates and the napkins and the cupcakes and the cake matched so perfectly and it was so pretty. The food looked wonderful and the way it was laid out is so very nice. What a very special day for you!!
That was excellent! Loved the color theme - very classy! Your Mom and mother-in-law and their helpers outdid themselves. So glad Granny, Katie, and Ira were able to attend. Love Granny’s smile - I just want to hug her so much! Austin was a big help, too! Lugging that rocker up those stairs couldn’t have been easy. I’m getting excited for you & Austin! Can’t wait for your little bundle of joy to arrive❣️

What a joy to see everyone looking happy and blessed. Especially sweet to see Miss Louzine there. I don't know who chose the color scheme for the shower but it was simply beautiful - elegant and understated - and the decorations were just beyond perfect - from the table dressings and flowers right down to the refreshments and their arrangement even the presentation of plates and cutlery and napkins. Just lovely in every way. Hats off to the genius behind all this! Congratulations to Corie and Austin and prayers for an easy delivery and transition into parenthood. God's blessings on everyone who is/will be touched by this baby's birth.

Where I am from in Arkansas, we're starting to see the men (groom or dad-to-be) attend the showers. While that's great and all, I like just the women only for baby showers, as seeing the new mom with the veteran moms and such is a delight. Sometimes the women are more reserved when men are around (what not to talk about in mixed company). Beautiful shower Corie!
What a beautiful shower and I love the traditional kind where the guys do something else. Ha. The cake and cupcakes were so beautiful and all of the decorations were too. It was so special that Granny could come after all she has been through. Corie you are so sweet and special and you are going to be an awesome mom.

That’s how we’ve always done baby showers here in Michigan, ladies only. When I lived out East I was shocked when I went to a baby shower and men started showing up! lol! Your shower was beautiful and I loved the babies breathe flowers, that was a beautiful touch. 😊 God bless you all.
