Loved this little sewing round up you presented. That Ronne top you made is just dreamy. And so flattering on you. I loved the vintage nod of the pattern where it used shoulder darts. Those should be included more often in patterns. And, believe that collar style was voted by Lady Oprah herself as one of the most flattering styles for any individual. The Ronne in white would be perfect. This could be a great scrap busting project using contrasting fabric for the collar facing and tie. Maybe my Midwest roots are showing with that last comment 😀.
That one piece body suit might also make a fairly modest swim suit if you also had a rash guard top to throw over it. Especially if the individual had little ones they were chasing around a community pool-no wardrobe malfunction in front of neighbors.
Thanks for taking your time to share all these-you have a great sense of style.

Hi Paula Jean -- The cropped hoodie was a perfect use for those striped sleeves--excellent decision, and it looks so sporty on you. Thanks for presenting some pattern companies I'd never been exposed to and for another great video!

Now I have found your channel I am catching up on back vlogs. Love the jumpsuit (I am having a bit of a jumpsuit phase myself) and those striped sleeves look lovely in the crop hoody. I just love your sense of style

Hi Paula Jean, I just found your channel 😊. Great video! I’ve made the Love Notions Sunday Romper twice in the dress version, and I just love it 😍. I love all your Junish makes👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hi Karen and welcome! Yes, the Sunday Romper is such a great pattern. I was hoping to get around to making the dress version as a swimsuit coverup, but have had too many other things on the docket -- I'll get to it, though! 😄

Much appreciated! Yes, that company has some really lovely patterns that I don't see from other companies. They even have an app that has all of the instructions for all their patterns, which is really handy for people like me who read instructions on an iPad rather than printing them out.

Thank you! I actually really want to make the other view as well. I'm wearing the Kersoe Top from the Ahead of the Curve fitting book by Jenny Rushmore of Cashmerette Patterns. It's the one of the five patterns included. It's actually a plain tank, but I hacked it into having a button front, as I was upcycling this one from a men's silk shirt and wanted to leave the buttons. The original pattern is fully lined, but I drafted facings for it. I love the cut -- I find the neckline really elegant, yet it's an easy, everyday garment. I have some details of the fitting adjustments I made and how I placed the pattern pieces on the old shirt in this IG post if you're interested: instagram.com/p/CeU6gaRLO_O/?img_index=8

What fabric did you use for the Rønne blouse? 😊

Hi there! I used a linen-viscose blend that was left over from a previous project (don't remember where I got it. I'd say it's a light mid-weight -- a little more substantial than a quilting cotton or shirt-weight poplin, but the viscose adds some softness.
