Lane 9 means you lost your semi, not a good strategy to have for winning titles. She's just overrated that's all. She's underperformed more than she's succeeded, if she was from any other nation she'd barely be known.
mannn especially how next season is she should hop in the indoor circuit 60m could really help improve her start Noah did it now he's Olympic and world champ
I think Like Noah she might need a sports therapist to help steel her mind . She's the fastest in this era but what good is that if she crumbles under pressure. Here's to hoping she works on her start and strengthens her mind
That's totally false, Noah is one of the strongest mentally in T&F, that man was not the fastest in 100m nor 200m at the beginning, and he somehow got better every time in WC or Olympics ( outside the 200m in Paris). Like Noah wasn't supposed to be where he is at, Coleman and Kerley was considered to be the ones dominating
Completely wrong take. Noah has a history of depression and other mental illnesses. He got with a therapist and then did the exact opposite. He’s overly confident and believes in himself to the point where he thinks he’s a God. And at that level with his history of mental problems, that’s what he HAS to do.
@@TheElcamino13 "She's the fastest in this era but what good is that if she crumbles under pressure" I am talking about his strong mindset when come to being good under pression in the big moments, now for his personal life Idk. Unless the OP took Noah as an example. Also I don't think he believes he is God, just people don't like him.
@@paquinraino8180 As a coach over nearly half a century, I am happy for Noah. I would love to see him run faster and I thought he would. The Olympics are a pressure cooker. Managing one’s own expectations as an athlete are made harder by doing as much talking and mugging for the cameras as he did, and instead focusing more on his own training and racing which will better contribute to his performances. He can keep doing whatever he wants, but there will also be consequences to being brash and inconsiderate of his opponents. It ain’t bragging if you can do it, as Babe Ruth said. Noah’s margin of victory was so close. I feel that he will perform better when he removes his other distractions from his primary mission. I have coached at the pro level and succeeded in getting athlete’s minds very well prepared. He can continue, or he can become even better, and there are a lot of sport psychologists who can help him focus more effectively.
@@Tredawakandan she’s not the fastest in this era, her times are not better than the Jamaicans! She’s merely the healthiest, I’m yet to hear she has an injury in the last 3 years! Her issues are emotional and psychological!
Noah improved his start doing the indoor circuit but he still needs to make it better. Sha’Carri is a question mark to me. She seemed mentally off at the Olympics. I’m not sure if hers is a technical or mental problem. I think her and Christian Coleman train together and he has the best start.
The constant immature celebration before the finish is a clear indication of poor coaching. Every serious coach should demand no celebration before the line, or else no coaching.
Sha'Carrie biggest issue, is lining up in the middle, surrounded by the big guns. She won the World Championship only as a result of adrenaline from almost not making the Finals & was therefore, placed in the outside lane. When the stakes are high, it's an issue for her surrounded by those, whom she knows can beat her, it appears to be mental, which affects her start as well..
Sha'carri is definitely struggling with nerves. As a anxious person, I see the signs. Her consistency is seemingly wavering and i experience that daily.
@chestertheblack; I completely agree, she openly admitted after the WC that she struggles to control her nerves. The 10.65 she ran in the other lane was a result of having less pressure. When she's away from the fastest runners, she's able to stay composed and focus on her own race, without being rattled by the intensity of her fast competitors.
I blame the coaches for not recognizing her challenges and providing the support she needs beyond physical training. Elite sprinting requires more than just physical strength, it demands the sound mental capacity. She needs a therapist. Sha'Carri openly admitted after the World Championships that managing her nerves is a struggle, and her 10.65 from the outside lane was the result of reduced pressure. Despite her speed, she will never reach her full potential unless this issue is addressed. When Noah Lyles falls behind at the start, he maintains confidence and believes he can still catch everyone. But with Sha'Carri, when she's too far behind, she tends to give up, fails to execute her signature top-end speed, and doesn't seem to care if she finishes last. She has become one of the most unpredictable runners.
yes, I agree, she either needs a new coach, or people have to start telling her the truth. And also, yes, she is unpredictable, that's why I like Noah better. (I still like both though) Prime Elaine's top speed will always help her win medals, but her mentality helped her run an OR and 10.54. When Sha Carri gets her mental and starts together, she will become the new Sprint Queen! I think LA28 will be interesting
Julien Alfred is fast, but more importantly, she doesn’t seem to be intimidated by other elite sprinters. This is the kind of mental strength Sha'Carri needs. It’s mind-blowing to see that she ran 10.71 at the U.S. Trials finals and then 10.87 at the Olympic finals, almost like they sent a different Sha'Carri to the Olympics.
It's not her coaches fault, her start has been a challenge since highschool and definitely in college, that's why she lost the indoor 60 in college to TT Terry. They've been trying to address it for years. You think Nike and USATF haven't thought about and thrown resources at all of this? Managing nerves and anxiety is something some athletes battle their whole careers in all sports.
10.60 combining alfreds first 40 from this year and shacarris last 60 from last year... pretty crazy considering both races werent in ideal circumstances (small headwind and this year with a wet track), with better conditions could be in the low 10.5s (ahead of ETHs wr of 10.54)
@@MsJared1994 Nobody was running as fast at the Diamond League races after the Olympics and Alfred and Richardson were 1-1 against each other. And it is a fact that both Richardson and Pryce were not allowed to warm up properly before the Semis and Finals at the Olympics.
One could say a similar story for even Shericka and Shelly(whose start doesn’t seem to be amongst the fastest anymore), of the older runners Talou seems to be holding her own!
People talking about her bad coaching. I'll bet anything they coach the heck out of her and all of it doesn't matter come race day cuz she can't mentally keep it together. They probably help her with a mental checklist to go thru but she just can't execute. She may win some golds but she could have been legendary if she was more humble and focused.
It’s simple, Sha’Carri was under raced this year. She should’ve dominated the circuit after Nationals and stayed on Julien’s shoulder. She went into the Olympics out of shape (in comparison to trials) & mentally unprepared to run against her biggest competitor at that moment. Sha’Carri has made a comeback in a ridiculously successful way after experiencing life altering adversity though, I don’t doubt she’ll do it again.
@@hallelegion9854 she ran 10-8 in the semi behind Alfred ...into a negative wind and wasnt going al out ....she just gave up in the Finals when she looked up and saw Alfred way ahead of her in the Final ,,,Mental Block
It’s a bit like having the yips. There are a lot of great athletes who just struggle and don’t quite live up to their physical capabilities consistently due to mental health issues. Many many of them overcome that part and shine. She’s already grown so much, I suspect she’ll keep progressing.
We actually have a word for this that's quite often used to describe the phenomena of not performing at your best when others equal or greater talent is present...She choked. She'll overcome it with time. It is extremely nerve wreaking in those blocks with thousands or in her case millions of people watching. You have to overcome the anxiety before you enter the blocks. She may needs a better routine when entering the blocks.
Sha'carri will become a dominant champion if she learns to race her race with confidence in each race. She's not a fast starter and doesn't need to be because she can fly, but she won't do that by catching up with the quicker starters, she'll do that by learning how to take off and fly past them. That's her race, her rhythm and she'll win without thinking. Love to see it but that's her willingness and her coaches helping her learn.
I just think Sha'carri just got too much distraction in her head in the blocks. If she focuses more on just getting out and not focusing on who is beside her. She will react much better. Her problem is FOCUS.
@samanimations2002 she's ran it once? Please just join reality this delusional nonsense has to stop. Let's rate athletes on actual achievements instead of social media hype and delusional expectations.
@@crimsonchin9632 My point still stands because she also ran 10.7s on multiple occasions. Objectively she is a great sprinter. She has two flaws - Her side step when starting and being too mentally in her head on the big stages. She’s gotta overcome those two things.
@@crimsonchin9632 she's still ran close to that time. Usain bolt hasn't ran 9.58 multiple times but has times around it, same with every other athlete..
Can you do a reaction time for Shelly Ann's 10.6 runs her reaction times now seems a bit slower than usual. I think her reaction times in the 00's - 10's were much faster than in the 20's which is interesting since she's running faster in the 20's.
Sha’carri problems are all mental if she ever gets that together she will be unbeatable. She can go from winning a race to dead last the next. For sure her starts aren't great but there not consistent either.
*It's been 5 years since she turn pro from college, to still have starting problem as a professional sprinter at this stage of her career tells me the coaching is terrible.*
Your comment tells me your knowledge of sprinting is terrible. Do you think that all her coach's athletes have this problem? Her start is not entirely but largely down to her very fragile mentality.
Her coach should address on her starts weaknesses..her feet going sideway as she leave the block...Im sure Mr Kersee can do something about that./ hopeful Sha Carri will become the most feared sprinter again.
My take on it is, mental if she's hungry for the win she gets mentally prepared if not she lacks the speed she usually has. Also now that Alfred has become a factor I think Sha'Carri will pay a little more attention to her going forward
what makes her finish strong is what makes her start slow. She's almost marches when she runs like stomping her feet. This is a terrible way to start a race. She needs to propel her self forward by not raising her legs as high and then gradually transitioning to her finishing form.
Carri gets the best start when she knows she’s better than the field and knows she’s gonna destroy them! When it’s time to run against her main competition she runs a completely different race! She had the benefit of not being near her main competitiors in Budapest which is why she had a good start in lane 9 and ultimately won! The only time she beats her main competitors is if they don’t get out on her! Before anyone asks about examples Ex: Prefontaine 2021, Prefontaine 2023, Budapest 23 Semifinal, Paris 2024, Brussels 24 Also she has a habit of giving up if she knows she’s not gonna win Ex: US Outdoors 23 200, Olympic Trials 200 Final, Budapest 23 200 Final, Brussels DL 2024 she gave up when Julien got out on her! There’s no fixing her start she needs a sport psychologist! You can be technically sound, but you can also be mentally off! She’s simply not mentally tough and doesn’t handle pressure well! If she had the assassin mentality of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, then it’s a different story.
It is said that marijuana (weed) can affect brain function, especially when used frequently or at a young age. The primary psychoactive compound in marijuana is **tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)**, which affects the brain in several ways. While some effects may be reversible after stopping use, others, particularly from heavy and early use, may persist.
I think it's largely mental. I think she starts poorly more often when she's on the inside against top tier runners versus when she runs on the outside she feels little to no pressure
I agree with your analysis, assessment, fair and unbiased commentary. If she doesn't correct her start reaction time, there are emerging young women spinters that are hungry for victory. They will be on her heels for the next four years in the diamond league and other meets to overtake her until the 2028 Olympic games. I definitely want to see Sha'Carri Richardson be great and win next season's 2025 World Championship, and all Diamond League meets leading up to the 2028 Olympic gold medal in the 100m.
Performance is typically a reflection of other things around an athlete. When things are regimented, calm and controlled, the athlete is calm and controlled. The only way to success is by raising your standards. If Miss Richardson wants better outcomes, discipline and vigilance need to become part of her and her team. There is nothing wrong with a strong ego, however it needs to move out the way to allow room for consistent hard work, ego does not win races, hard training does. I look forward to the honesty kicking in and exceptional outcomes to follow. I did see a comment about mental strength - absolutely, the greatest are the greatest because of their mental strength, everything else follows.
Well said. Success has a lot to do with maturity and that includes mental maturity. I don't know if Richardson can improve because it's a personal journey. Good luck to her.
When Shacarri feels like she is about to lose, she pulls up. She doesn't have that dog in her to fight for the finish. To her it's either a guaranteed win or whatever.
yes I agree, and she needs to fix that. Look at Noah, last at 50m, stayed confident and relaxed, and came back and won the 100m final. A better coach or getting a therapist could work
Yep, I think we all can agree that ShaCarri's biggest problem is her start and you can see her nerves. I agree she needs to run some indoor 60m to work on that start. The coaches need to step up and know to work on that. She is young and the nerves will get better with experience. I think that she is working on the mental which will eventually bring confidence back. Folks are hungry and after her, so she needs to stay focused on that start. It was obvious that the win in 2023 with her in the last lane was due to being away from the pack which helped her nerves. We know she is faster than 10.7. We know a win is a win, but anything above 10.8 is not record breaking.
She has to be the one to realize what she needs and what she doesn't need and to set priorities and then be willing to work her a$$ off to achieve her goal...second place ("first loser") isn't it...
She still among the greatest of all time, so let's not fret about minor issues she will overcome 💪💪💪🎉 Go Sha' Carri 🎉 you truly are an inspiration!!!🎉💪 Your strength and power is mind-blowing 🎉
...better example of the result of hard work and concentrating on what you need to do, not what the person next to you is doing...that includes "excuses"...
I've read that she does a lot of sled work. Research has shown that if too much resistance is used acceleration is slowed due to a lack of full knee and hip extension. I wonder if her block position needs to be adjusted.
I love everything about her she’s going to learn from her loss and get better she always does. Just wait age 28 and 32 is prime athletic stages. I see gold medals and world records in her future
Great points! Here is the thing…many do not realize ShaCarri actually has an amazing reaction time, in general (it is one of her strengths), but the drive phase is not good. In Paris, that reaction time was absolutely horrible. I think she has a habit of reacting slow when she’s trying to relax herself and prevent false starting, and I think she also does it when she feels she already has the race in the bag. Also, something else is going on with ShaCarri this season. I have noticed early in this season, and even at the trials, here top speed looks faster than ever 2024. However, after the trials, her top speed has been nowhere to be found! In Paris, all her 10M splits were like, .94, .95, and .96 which is nowhere near her previously running .91 and .92. I do not know what happened since the trials that has slowed down her top speed so badly, because she looked faster than ever in 2024 early on. Something is going on with her since the trials, and I also think she has shown she is one of those sprinters who needs to actually get in more races, instead of doing the Sydney & Athing thing…when ShaCarri runs a full season, she is unstoppable. It appears they’re still “figuring things out” with her at Star. BTW, ShaCarri’s start actually looks amazing this year (aside from the trials starts)…it could be the new start that is throwing her off.
@@stevie586 She was definitely under-raced. Once I noticed she lacked her typical bouncy stride & split .93 with a bit of effort from the heats, I knew then she wasn’t in the shape she needed to be in. They had it right last year, completely dropped the ball this year. I’m getting tired of the inconsistencies.
She is a pure talent, she has a lot of potential, so even if she fails for whatever reason, it doesn't diminish him value. She is a very special person in every way, win or lose, Sha Carri will always be the one who will be talked about more.

She's still very young. I believe she will get into that mature stage sooner than most of us would expect. Once that happens, she will have the ability to control her emotional being. As an avid fan of hers, she was devastated for not getting that gold during the Olympics but she made up for it. I believe she will excel. She will be there at the top for a while. I love her so much. Peace ✌️ ☮️.
She needs a good coach in life as well as on the track...keep working on the humbleness and humility too...and maybe think about losing those aerodynamically challenged claws
I love this sprinter when she is on and has a good start. I have always said her starts suck. But she is so darn fast she can sometimes overcome this deficit. But, we will not see how fast she can go consistently if she doesn't master that start... She is kicking herself in the but with that bad start. Although, at the summer Olympics, she had an issue with reporting for the race. That's why Shelly Ann Pryce did not comptete, because she didn't get to warm up properly.
I mentioned her start was the problem on a live broadcast with Ato Bolden during the 2023 USA championships and he tried to say her start is not the problem. He showed me right there I could trust him as my coach. Solid guy tho.
The answer to this is more head-to-heads. Indoor or outdoor - doesn’t matter. She just needs to get more comfortable competing against her top competition.
I really liked her win in Budapest as it appeared to be such a surprise, she ran a great race and worked for it. But the shock reaction was amazing. I don't like strong self congratulatory finishes that you often see by all, often prior to the finish line.
Pressure can bust a pipe!! U can't teach a person to be a dawg (i.e. Quincy Hall). When the pressure is on, Richardson and Michael Norman do not always perform well.
Until she realizes she's not going to win any races if she doesn't fix what needs fixing...if she ever wants to be a GREAT runner, she's going to have to work on what she's not good at...consistency is the name of the game in sprinting...everybody knows she could be a GREAT runner...she just has to realize what she needs to do to get there and then do it...
From her bad races in China to start the outdoor season everyone should have known she wasn't going to win the Olympic gold medal. Anyone with functioning eyeballs can see she needs to fix her start. Unfortunately some people just don't have the ability to start well. I suggest she get a sport psychologist to help her with her nerves because she was clearly more on edge at the Olympics than anyone else. If she wants to fix her start - fix her nerves first. She goes into these races KNOWING her start is a problem against the big guns. That mental unease may be her biggest problem.
Tbh I thinks it’s pressure that makes her slow reaction time even slower to the point where she can’t comeback, any time she’s with someone very fast her start tends to be awful, another example was her 200m oly qualifiers final, good start in semis with less challengers but bad start with gabby
Probs to Julien Alfred because she's amazing, but don't leave out the warm-up situation at the Olympics that costed Shelly-Ann her race as well. Sha'Carri basically ran a 10.8 without warmup.
When you have drugs to treat your anxiety for a long time it’s hard to readjust those brain cells to a natural treatment plan. It takes time and her mental health is slowly improving! Marijuana usage is no joke as some people think it’s not a drug it’s light weight. But anything that affects the brain cells is nothing to take lightly as its individualised per it’s impact and influence!
You're insinuating there were brain cells present to begin with...it is much nicer not hearing her say anything before or after her races...is that one of the "symptoms" of getting off the weed?
We all know that Shacarri's challenge is her mental/psychological mindset. If she was at lane 9 in the Olympics.., she would have repeated same excellent running prowess as she did in the World's 2023 coz she's not intimidated by her fellow side by side running mate. So she runs focused and exceptionally driven....
Her issue is she isn't as explosive off the start as most other runners. For whatever reason, in most of her races she is running from behind. Looks great when she wins. However, other runners have figured this out and are adapting to the way she runs which is why after the Olympics, her record is a nightmare.
The headline bumper to this video was all that I needed to see to know what this video was all about. Even I called the outcome; that if Sha'Carri fell asleep in the blocks (like so many times before), Julien Alfred would win. 😵
iv said for a long time that her mental game is 50/50, when she is pumped and in her happy place she can beat just about anyone but even just a slight loss of focus and it really affects her, its funny u mention her Olympic closing 40m cos i thought she gave up and backed off and the times show that especially the last 10m split, she needs to see the same coach that Noah Lyles went to that improved his start dramatically which has helped with his 100m times especially
she needs to choose, being a runner or she wants to be in a fashion show. If she put 100% of her mind in running, she have a good chance, but now 60% on style and fashion and only 40% on running to beat the record
Shacarri should use indoor 2025 as a training tool and work with someone on her start. Don’t leave the camp but bring in another expert to get this start together. She has all the talent in the world to be unstoppable
Sha'carri richardson keep on training for 2025 disappointments are always there in life never give up like what you used to do for the past years, just work-out on your startup I'm always proud of you gal never give up Sha'carri keep on focusing .
I think this is interesting, her coach needs to work on that. I don't think it's accurate to call her a seasoned veteran tho.. This was her first Olympics. She can still perfect her craft. Compared to Shericka, Elaine, Shelley, and Ta Lou she's a baby in the game
When you don't understand what's at stake you don't understand competition. From not making it to the Olympics to being in the final. The one thing you DON'T WANT is a false start. Just imagine the pressure to not get disqualified again for the second time, regardless of the reason. She did what she NEEDED to do point blank period! Now that a medal has been accomplished, a world title has been accomplished, this is now a situation where you can run free!
@@alexandermacgowan9951 none of the others had the same circumstances and pressure. Shelly Ann didn't even run because of the issues dealing with the 100m before it even started. No warm up just run. I don't know any professional athlete that does that.

Not true. His reaction times were not slow. In the London 2012 olympic final his reaction time was 0.155s. He just needed time to get his very long legs up to speed in comparison to his shorter competitors in the first 40 meters.
Everyone has a nerve problem. The excitement seems to work on your nerve the stops your best in all your thinking. She knew that she had some fast people in the race and that's all she could think about. So if she blocks everything out of her mind and think about the start(gun) and the race. She would beat everyone.
Shaccari is a world champion if l must say but she likely get intimidated when completing with other best athletics like Julien Alfred and in turn has an impact on her performance thats why she just slow down when about to reach the finishing line because she feels like she already lost, and at some point her bad start from the blocks can also contribute but in my opinion she panics too much to the extent that lowers her performance .
She's at best a "part time" wannabe "champion"...until she decides to do what needs to be done to fix what's wrong and become consistent at what she does, she'll never be anything better than what she is...and that's not a "champion". He’s overly confident and believes in himself to the point where he thinks he’s a God. And at that level with his history of mental problems, that’s what he HAS to do.

@@javebjorkman Christian Coleman and Fred Kerley are both fantastic starters.
The constant immature celebration before the finish is a clear indication of poor coaching. Every serious coach should demand no celebration before the line, or else no coaching.
she's not the only US sprinter with start issues
Noah Lyles gets it together when it matters
What's your point?
Sha'Carrie biggest issue, is lining up in the middle, surrounded by the big guns. She won the World Championship only as a result of adrenaline from almost not making the Finals & was therefore, placed in the outside lane. When the stakes are high, it's an issue for her surrounded by those, whom she knows can beat her, it appears to be mental, which affects her start as well..
No one wins a world title on adrenaline 😂
I feel she was running with less pressure from late 8. She could focus on her own race. She actually had a good start in the world championships.
She's beaten the best from the middle lane.

No..... totally disagree

“When charted on to a graph”, proceeds to show a chart
Me too!! 😂😂😂😂
And you think this is new insight? I’m sure she already has a therapist and has been working on it.
@@RelicHunter123do you think so?

I agree with your first part, but she already is humble and has been since last year. I think she just needs a therapist like Noah does
Sha'carri's greatest weakness is her mentality
Oh really and what's her mentality, in your expert opinion?
It’s simple, Sha’Carri was under raced this year. She should’ve dominated the circuit after Nationals and stayed on Julien’s shoulder. She went into the Olympics out of shape (in comparison to trials) & mentally unprepared to run against her biggest competitor at that moment.
Sha’Carri has made a comeback in a ridiculously successful way after experiencing life altering adversity though, I don’t doubt she’ll do it again.
I totally concur with you. She should revisit the 2023 racing mentality where she raced more often.

WRONG! At this level of competition they all can "fly"...the one with the fastest start will usually win...
I just think Sha'carri just got too much distraction in her head in the blocks. If she focuses more on just getting out and not focusing on who is beside her. She will react much better. Her problem is FOCUS.

what makes her finish strong is what makes her start slow. She's almost marches when she runs like stomping her feet. This is a terrible way to start a race. She needs to propel her self forward by not raising her legs as high and then gradually transitioning to her finishing form.

She had the benefit of not being near her main competitiors in Budapest which is why she had a good start in lane 9 and ultimately won! The only time she beats her main competitors is if they don’t get out on her!
Before anyone asks about examples
Ex: Prefontaine 2021, Prefontaine 2023, Budapest 23 Semifinal, Paris 2024, Brussels 24
Also she has a habit of giving up if she knows she’s not gonna win

Yet she got the dog in her to place for 2 Olympic medals and a Gold medal world champion
yes I agree, and she needs to fix that. Look at Noah, last at 50m, stayed confident and relaxed, and came back and won the 100m final. A better coach or getting a therapist could work
Awesome analysis as per usual! Love your insights!!
This could be physical or mental. Hope her trainers & doctors sort this soon so that this young girl becomes the best in da world.
😅Yeah I been saying her start is too slow. She'll be unstoppable if she gets better at that. She needs to racing at 60m. It could help with her start.

What makes it worse is she’s petite, so less mass to move from a standstill. Bolt’s starts weren’t great but he’s a giant compared with Richardson.
I love everything about her she’s going to learn from her loss and get better she always does. Just wait age 28 and 32 is prime athletic stages. I see gold medals and world records in her future
I blame her coach at this point.
Wow. What an excellent breakdown and explanation.
BTW, ShaCarri’s start actually looks amazing this year (aside from the trials starts)…it could be the new start that is throwing her off.
yes, I agree. Her first 5m isn't always too bad, but her first full 30-40M can be good or bad. She does need to race more often to stay in shape too
@@stevie586 She was definitely under-raced. Once I noticed she lacked her typical bouncy stride & split .93 with a bit of effort from the heats, I knew then she wasn’t in the shape she needed to be in. They had it right last year, completely dropped the ball this year.

Richardson is a conservative starter to avoid a false start. Better to be able to finish than not even being allowed to start.

She didn’t run through the line at Paris
It’s her starts and her getting into her head
Proof you can lead the race horse to water...but you can't make the nag start any faster if people keep making excuses for her...
Her problem is Julian Alfred
She’ll be fine. She is young and knows exactly what to work on.
That was a great breakdown...
That Paris 100m final start looks like she just stood up out of the blocks rather than pushing off for some forward advantage.
iv said for a long time that her mental game is 50/50, when she is pumped and in her happy place she can beat just about anyone but even just a slight loss of focus and it really affects her, its funny u mention her Olympic closing 40m cos i thought she gave up and backed off and the times show that especially the last 10m split, she needs to see the same coach that Noah Lyles went to that improved his start dramatically which has helped with his 100m times especially

she needs to choose, being a runner or she wants to be in a fashion show.

Hopefully she and her coach work on that next season
Reaction time & drive phase is killing her😊
The start time doesn't always matter, it's how you finished
Not getting to peak acceleration is always her issue in sub-par performances. Like us all!
Not a coach issue. Sha'carri's in her own head, as it were.
She’s a GREAT sprinter and a FINE woman…
Always nice to see a humble champion come out on top over an arrogant mfer.
Shacarri isnt arrogrant. You sound miserable & bitter.
She needs a better coach, on and off the track! She needs to go back to school and learn something she will be able to fall back on when she is no longer a competitive runner. Try to get a college scholarship and this time STUDY! Familiarize yourself with the story of Pygmalion and then become Eliza Doolittle! Be thankful that God has given you gifts that not everyone is lucky enough to have in their life that can get you through doors not everyone can have an opportunity to use to better themselves and eventually give back to the community some of what has been given to you...
@@alexandermacgowan9951 l'm sure she will,u know sometimes in life we go through hardships but she wasn't supposed to just slow down in the race at Brussels
