    Interesting video, they must have fixed something soon after this. I remember packed crowds throughout the 80's.

    The track official was just covering for his cronies who wanted to continue to win with front engine cars and not have to take a year learn how to build and race their own. Stupid is as stupid does. Thank goodness Drag Racing did not balk at rear engines.
