Thing about characters is they're as strong as the writers make them out to be. You could totally write Batman (with prep time), the Flash (speedforce bs go!), etc.
From what I read, it ended up where at a certain point there will be a split in the timeline. One branch will continue on as the main timeline, and the other branch will go off in it own direction. Thus you get Earth-1985 (which split off just before "Crisis on Infinite Earts." If my understanding is right, each time they reboot Superman a new timeline will be created that will split off from the main timeline.
Although The Question thinks outside the box, and Nightwing is an excellent leader (people want to follow him), I agree there wasn't much they could actually do. It is the same with many of the other characters, such as The Metal Men. It is possible that they are just covering all bases since they don't know what they are going up against, since this is the first time that the heroes of the DCU have actually met Doctor Manhattan, and he is an unknown. I suspect that it wasn't until Guy punched and broke Doctor Manhattan's' neck, and then he regenerated from the injury that they started to see just out of his league (no pun intended) they were.
Imagine finding a being you know nothing about and jumping at it without second thought. Im not surprised batmam was pulled out of it. Only thing you can do with Manhattan is reason and without batman there is no talking.
Although unwise, Guy Gardner's action make sense given his character and history. As revealed in "Green Lantern: Rebirth", Guy can hardly wait to unleash his ring on his enemy. Going back a bit, Guy was the one American superhero the Soviet Union was afraid of. The reason: He was liable to start WWIII. Given that and their history together, The Martian Manhunter should have restrained Guy and kept him from lashing out as he did.
Now, I don't pretend I know a lot about comics, so maybe I'm just confused. What could Swamp Thing do to help on a barren, cold, and dead Mars? Also, I got a better look the second time around and Question is there! What is he going to do? Show Dr. Manhattan his tri fold board of old newspaper clippings?
"what are you hoping to accomplish?" is such a cool line when you rebuilt your body from nothing infront of them. the difference is so large you arent even concerned about their action.

At this point Dr. Manhattan is a God 🤷🏻♂️ The only few human traces left are what make him participate in these types of fights. He's usually more interested in the fundamental particles of what everything is made of…He gets bored with the interweaving of superheroes and humans problems, for him technically everything is the same, the universe doesn't even realize it.
Same thing he did against brainiac five in convergence, give a creature with absolutely superior intelligence a migraine using only words so his comrades can get some hits in.
Dr. Manhatten practically has the power of a god but needs to create a clone of himself to fail at getting Laurie off instead of just snapping his fingers to make everyone goo at the same time.
Dr Manhatta evolved into a true good. A lovecraftian being beyond any human reasoning. The one we see here is not that one, but vestiges of his past. The real one added himself to DC timeline by becoming a kid. He literally doesnt pose a threat nor a helpful hand, he wrotes his position in DC story. I think these episodes demonstrate that he is literally fighting against the comic's author. He talks about how "the universe" sends random enemies to purge him, but he just keeps rewriting history
This was a terrible idea. Manhattan is not a character, he's a literal deus ex machina, he's too powerful to have drama around him and reducing his power makes him a different character (being overpowered is the point to his character). It's bad enough DC refuses to give back his characters to Alan Moore(it's there in the contract, DC has been exploiting a loophole for decades) but to rewrite them this badly and with zero understanding of how they work is adding insult to injury

I never understood how he was so powerful. The shit they make up in these comics makes it seem like he shouldnt be the strongest but he is. For no good reason.
The reason he's so powerful is because of the author. The author wanted Dr Manhattan to be a concept of unimaginable scale. As in, how would it be - if we took essentially a God, that is discovering and learning about himself and his powers while having no limitations for growth. The biggest mistake that all comic readers/fan does with Dr Manhattan, which is something I read by someone else - that I think makes fairly good sense, is the fact, that Dr Manhattan is a character that is above and cannot be forced into a "Vs." a specific character., due to the fact, that he's just overwhelmingly powerful. He hasn't been forced into defeat. Mr Mxy is afraid of him. Perpetua felt his powers. Numerous of characters with imitations or lesser versions of his powers does insane feats. We still don't know his limitations.

Doing that added to the shock of the moment.
is Lois Lane is this universe named Louis? 😂
It's because this channel is not a real human. It's an AI channel.
oh that explains it thank you for that info!
Hey Lois... Diarrhea.
Hi Lewis!
They sent everyone when they should've only sent Constantine.
Yeah, only one person must have his ass eaten.
Constantine probably would have just had a conversation with him and won that way lol because he saw through the problem entirely
Costantine was in the crowd that used magic against him.
The Phantom Stranger would be a better match, since he's an angel (at least according to Imaginary Axis).
Constantine was there, so was Dr. Fate. They both got offscreen beat...
You know....Superman's girlfriend, Louis.
Hey petah
@1:21 "Luis is by his side" I had no idea Superman was gay.
The pink kryptonite strikes again
Dr. Manhattan can look in any direction without fear. So great is his influence and power that seldom could any being even hold a candle to him. But, there is a vector he never dares to consider. One even his omniscient stare is terrified of. Dr. Manhattan, John Osterman, is scared shitless of what he might see......if he looks at the readers.
Wait...he never looks directly at the "camera" in any panel/pane?
@SubduedRadical never. At least not in the main canons. Though he 'knows' about the camera, there's a certain.......set of beings that he refuses to interact with, because they outclass him in a way that's hard to really comprehend.

Thing about characters is they're as strong as the writers make them out to be. You could totally write Batman (with prep time), the Flash (speedforce bs go!), etc.
Thats the major flaw
Ah yes. Lewis Hamilton loves Superman
well its the reason he races so well
They really thought they stood a chance💀
Its pretty cool to see so many heros in the same comic!!
He only reset the timeline the book states the multiverse is altered by earth prime.
The real question is, what was question and nightwing there for? What could they have done 😂
Cartwheel of Justice at him!
They could do exactly as much as anyone else in the lineup - absolutely nothing.
The greatest asset Batman’s prodigy bring is tactical and detective skills. In this case it would mean nothing.
@@kidbuu1990 detective skills could have figured out who or what and reasoned with Doc Man
Although The Question thinks outside the box, and Nightwing is an excellent leader (people want to follow him), I agree there wasn't much they could actually do.
Dr Manhattan vs any one else is like a fallout player with console commands vs some random npc.
Imagine finding a being you know nothing about and jumping at it without second thought. Im not surprised batmam was pulled out of it. Only thing you can do with Manhattan is reason and without batman there is no talking.
To be fair, Jon/Manhunter kind of started to try.
Your choice of music did not go unnoticed. OPM ftw!
Retcon Doomsday Clock
I mean I'm sure Dr. Manhattan would at least be amused by the conspiracies the Question digs up.
Not even doctor manhattan is immune to talk no jutsu
I hope they make an animated adaptation of this "Doomsday Clock" storyline.
"what are you hoping to accomplish?" is such a cool line when you rebuilt your body from nothing infront of them. the difference is so large you arent even concerned about their action.

Dr. Manhattan during the fight is like, I know how to unmake you & control all your abilities.

Dude, you REALLY put one of the musics of One Punch Man? This is hilarious.
"There is a being that has been manipulating the timeline over and over again-"
Fucking hell, Ezra.
“Yes. Let’s go fight him” lol😂
Good old Lewis he'll never leave Superman's side.
I still think the magic users could've given Jon a fight if they hadn't just marched right up to him.
Nah, he just copied their own best magic and did it better or he can just make himself immune to magic lol

He talks about how "the universe" sends random enemies to purge him, but he just keeps rewriting history
i love lewis and superman, they are an iconic duo
Bro the one punch man music😔
The opm music is wild💀
Good ole Louis
swamp thing humbled the entire dc universe before this ducktail ever existed
Dr. Manhattan just soloed Justice League without gear, his only surprice being how he could get agroed by grey.
☝️“Please read this for every second is not promised to no one!”
The Bible says
We’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God: (“Roman’s 3:23”)
God has pronounced that the penalty of sin
Even just one! would make you liable
To spiritual death and separation from God for all of eternity in a place of judgment called Hell: “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23)
BUT the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(“John 3:16”)✝️
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
God had a plan for our redemption even before the first sin was conceived into the world through Adam and Eve.
God knew we couldn’t ever save ourselves on our own
After all You can’t clean something that’s dirty with more dirt, therefore we couldn’t clean our sin, as being sinners ourselves
So God Himself came down
Jesus took our punishment death! and took it on the cross and gave up his life
For us on the cross of Carvery that we may be reconciled to the father Making a way through Him self
In the Old Testament
God commanded the nation of Israel to perform
animal sacrifices to provide a temporary covering of sins
“Please read this for more context,
if you don’t have time go down please
Why did God require animal sacrifices in the Old Testament? | GotQuestions.org
In short the reason why Animal sacrifices have now ended is because, Jesus Christ was the “ULTIMATE” and perfect sacrifice. John the Baptist recognized this when he saw Jesus coming to be baptized and said, “Look, the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). You may be asking yourself, why animals? What did they do wrong? That is the point-since the animals did no wrong, they died in place of the one performing the sacrifice. Jesus Christ also did no wrong but willingly gave Himself to die for the sins of mankind (1 Timothy 2:6). Jesus Christ took our sin upon Himself and died in our place. As 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “God made him [Jesus] who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” Through faith in what Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross, we can receive forgiveness.
He loves you and He wants a relationship with you His return is near! HES COMING FOR HIS PEOPLE Repent and turn from your sins and to turn to God
1 John 1:9-10
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 Timothy 2:4-6
God wants everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth. There is only one God, and there is only one way that people can reach God. That way is through Christ Jesus, who as a man gave himself to pay for everyone to be free. This is the message that was given to us at just the right time.
I thought it was pretty faithful. I mean faithful enough different writers and artists have different takes
The first civilization in the DC universe went back to the beginning of time, and those that witnessed it went mad from what they saw: The hand that shaped creation.

"Luis" and Superman 😂
I never understood how he was so powerful. The shit they make up in these comics makes it seem like he shouldnt be the strongest but he is. For no good reason.
Honestly yeah
@@Dragonichh And he got all these powers from a regular ass atomic science experiment?
@randomuser.5356 hey man happens all the time look at the hulk
@@Dragonichh noyeah, i understand that. Anyone who doesn't understand the meta needs to have their god d*mn eyes and brain checked.
My question was never about the most obvious aspect of it.
Its just how they made him both weaker and stronger than he previously was. His story in dc was bad. Him as a character cant hold a candle to his watchmen self.
He was used just like the batman who laughs was used. Theres not even many differences between the two that matter at all.
God. Im so sick of power scaling that i could actually throw up out of annoyance. Super*** also has a moment like this. How is he suddenly supposed to amp himself to the point of being a le to kill dr. Manhattan with ONE punch? These comics are horrible. F***ing trash story telling.
