Why do we have to follow one imam when we can take the authentic opinion from amongst the imams and just follow that?

If a normal person is doing it it is problematic. IF a scholar who is well versed in the matter of fiqh is doing it, it is okay. Bringing it down to saying it is obligatory to follow a madhab for that very reason is wrong. If you were told your whole life that this madhab said that and this by your parents and one day your sheikh brings evidence (based on the Quran and sahih ahadith) that goes against that teaching, you follow the evidence. Strictly sticking to a madhab allows people to ascribe things to that madhab and add on to that madhab as the years go by. When you have a person teaching you that this madhab says this and this one says that, you get confused. That is why you go to a person of fiqh who has proper aqeedah.

Assalamualaikum ma sha allah what the shaykh has said here is soo good easy to understand but i dont know why in my mind i just questions like when imam hanafi said something and imam shafi said something on any topic means its not the same soo there will be a confusion to those who wants to follow the term. And shaykh also said that after soo much of research they have came into this conclusion but when there are some differences why dont we just go back and look at what Muhammad salalahu alaihi wasallam has said about it and which many scholars have agreed upon and gave authenticity...
Why we dont get unite in common terms rather we just follow and be separate...
    Jazakh allah hu khair.....

Great attempt but unless I hear a Qur'anic aayah or an authentic Hadith on the necessity to choose one of the madhhabs, I'll continue to pick and choose in love of my Prophet SAWS. "whenever the Prophet had to choose between two options, he always chose the easier, unless it was explicitly forbidden (Bukhari).

No Madhab should exist !! Only sunnah !! Only hadith and Quran which is complete and easy !! I really finding it hard to take !

As Salam alyakum I don’t get why it would be absurd if you was to pick and chose what you feel is right if all the four schools are said to be correct what would we be doing wrong if all the four schools following the sunnah

Prophet Jesus, Peace be Upon Him, will return. Which Madhab will he follow? He will follow the Quran and Sunnah.

Yes it is difficult to judge what is and isn't authentice and that's why we should follow the Quran. The best Hadith is the Quran. The hadiths are not transmitted the same as the Quran the Quran was verified by the Messenger pbuh the hadiths were not.
Allah wanted us as one not divided not pick and choose from other books. Allah sent the Quran as a guide. Allah gives knowledge to whom he wills.
    18:35
We have diversified in this Quran all kinds of examples for the people, yet the human being is most argumentative. 18:54
25:30 And the Messenger said: “My Lord, my people have deserted this Quran.”
May Allah guide us and give us knowledge

Madhab is not revelation rather the Quran and the saheeh Ahadeeth upon the understanding and Manhaj of the Sahabah and the Ulamah who followed them strictly until today. All Aimma said not to blind follow them. But follow the evidence whoever has it on an issue. All Muslims are obligated to learn and follow the Quran and the Saheeh Ahadeeth upon the Manhaj and faham of the Sahabah and the Ulama who followed them strictly up to today.

I have to disagree with you brother.
    Regarding blood breaking your wudu ;
Imam Abu Hanifa based his opinion on tve quranic verse, where blood is deemed najis. He did not know about the hadith where muslims bled during salah, and continued their prayer.
Regarding touching wife breaking your wudu. The imam might not have come over the hadith where Rasool Allah SAW touched his wife during prayer and kept performing his salah. What would these muslims do during hajj?
You should look for the strongest daleel. All imams have said the same. Follow hadith if it clashesh with our fiqh.
    And Allah knows best.
