This is my playthrough of a nostalgic game called Winning Eleven 3.
Where do I begin? This was one of the games that I played growing up.
One time, I was at a friend's house who had the original Playstion , (most of the time I was going there to play video games) I was searching through his games and suddenly this game's cover caught my eye... it was just a simple cover where Japan's national football team were standing.
my friend told me "oh yeah I bought this game last week but I haven't played it...let's play it together and find out what kind of a football game it is.
we put the disc in and we began to play. from the moment the game booted up and the main menu theme kicked in, I was captivated, both of us were captivated. at that time, I had never played a sports game that felt this good.
We were playing for hours non-stop everyday. we were figuring out the game.
After a few weeks, my dad got me a Playstation and a copy of this game.
Since now we both had a Playstation, we got the idea of running a little tournament among our friends...long story short, what I'm trying to say is this game is special to me.
A Little Bit Of Game Information:
Winning Eleven 3 was released in Japan for the original Playstation in 1998.
It was published by Konami.
Winning Eleven 3 is the Japanese version of International Soccer Superstar 98 (ISS 98).
It's almost the same game with a few differences:
1- the commentator is Japanese instead of English
2- the English commentator doesn't say the players' names but this one does
3- some of the texts are Japanese
4- the game also runs a little faster
