I'm 47 years old and I have wanted to see this man play live for over 20 years. For one reason and another I never got to see him live.
Until this year on the 12th of October 2024 I finally got to see him play a 6 hour set in Pacha in ibiza, my favourite DJ in my favourite club. It was epic, I didn't stop all night. Thanks for the memories. Big ❤

The crowd does not do this man justice. He's a true artist on the CDJ's/Turntables. I'm guessing most weren't even born when some of these tracks were out and on the dance floors. Keep rockin it Roger!

I was there and I am a fan, however the sound system quality was horrible- It often took a long time before you realized a different song was being played. The bass was too agressive
He’s better than what he’s act doing for this event...he’s one true original djs left,but seems like he’s just pushing buttons for this one....he’s wayyyy better than that

I miss underground music culture. The late 80s through early 90s were the peak of underground house/ techno parties. Remember when you would go to a party and the dj would be spinning right in front of the crowd, and the crowd would face each other and dance till well after the sun came up.
Still going strong !! More then 20 years experience and still one of the best who understands the real HOUSE generations. Love this mix of old and new. Couldn’t stop dancing! Thanks you’re a legend !

Crazy set, but you have to keep it in the clubs. Big venues like this only attract unappreciated people, there for the lights and spectacles. No love for the history behind House and The S man. Awesome set. Rocking since 92 with R.Sanchez

What a time the 90'th house when we order by fax our vinyl by Vinyl Mania in NYC or Black Market in London... So nostalgic... The golden time of Strictly rhythm, Nervous records... Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, MAW, Tood Terry, David Morales, Roger Sanchez :) and hundreds others...

AMAZING!! This took me back to my club days and his sets still as amazing as they used to be!!
His set here shows how Big Room sounds do not work now a day with young generation. Many common acapella supported his NYC's DJ skills, although I've heard his early 90s set in Washington, D.C. during his Easy Street Records tour and as original tunes as Music Producer/Remixer, much respect to Roger S.
That kind of set, where i am sitting in same posture for 1 hour and just amazed at how this legend play with those CDJ's, at times i even forgot to breathe.
would prefer this set over any other commercial set. no offence against any music.

Man , Roger is an awesome DJ , but he has over killed the Masters at work accapella of Work. Whether Ibiza or NYC , he must change ...if u follow his sets , u know what I'm talking abt. SOME Good old tunes here.
i follow all his sets.... he has been playing the broomstick accapella in every single bloody set. i have no idea how it does not bother him. he needs to move on. he is a little bit stuck...

One of the very best true music producers out there, and I'm not a huge fan of this type of house I prefer tech house and techno more, the S man is brilliant for parties and nights like NYE plus this set would have been way better in a small atmospheric club

The thing is that people who have gone to see Roger before are so bored. He has been playing pretty much the same set for like 8 years now. Yes play the classics but throw in some new tracks. House is far from dead and there is still a lot of good stuff coming out

Today's kids only want to hear 'songs' they hear on the radio all day... they have no clue about classic house tracks from the 90's.
I agree with you most of the radio popular music have no meaning to their beats I think the popular radio artists really should collaborate with known house djs to elevate their own music!!!

I think I'm in agreement about the crowd. it doesn't really look as though they are really feeling it. Even though most of the tunes are remixes of old classics they still have a proper shake your ass factor and the crowd don't seem to be shaking anything 😐. Hats off to Roger Sanchez though, a true master of House, great mixing, great tune selection and great talent, big up the S Man 😊.

It's sad to watch tbh. I come from a Hardcore background but moved onto House an I loved listening to these re-makes. Good music is good music but I think you're right that they may be a bit young for it.

A masterclass on how to DJ, brilliant. Too many Dj's play it safe with predictable sets. Guys like Zabiela, Sanchez and Dave Clarke really take sets off in different directions.

And let alone - THEY ARE NOT EVEN DANCING! Either because they can't, or they are more concerned about others looking at them. Clubs during the 80's and 90's....we didn't care. We had fun and danced all night, especially when a DJ like Roger knows how to rock it.

Great set! A shame the crowd has zero idea what is happening. I wish djs could play a set without creating a "drop" every 2 minutes to keep the kids interested.
he tried to make it possible for them with a huge build up before the big drums in Another Chance around the 1:13:00 . Not sure if the photographer just missed it, or if there is just zero interest. I'm not sure this is a generational thing though. I had a similar experience around 10 years ago, with an awesome set played by Felix the Housecat to about 100 people who were dancing having a great time, while the rest of the crowd was next door doing nothing waiting for Steve Aoki to come out and walk around on stage as he does
