Not only Courtois best ever season but no goalkeeper has ever had a better season in UCL history than Courtois now. He made a world record of 61 saves this season and a record 9 saves in a champions league final, and if you look at the importance of the saves, its the craziest thing look that save from Grealish at 87th minute which was the reason they advanced to the final and that save from Havertz that kept them in the tie at 4-3 down. Messi penalty save too. You people gotta notice more than that

Allison has excellent positioning, he makes hard saves look like routine saves and his decision making to rush in a 1v1 situations is second to none. Such an excellent all round keeper, Liverpool really helped him improve over years.
I've been saying this for Ages! It's His Foot Work n Positioning that makes the Saves look Easy! You'll Never see Alisson scramble across the goal because of what I said above! Class 🔥 Keeper

Positioning is most important attribute for a goalkeeper, bad positioning cause all sorts of problems.

Alisson usually isn't the most flashy keeper (apart from some amazing moments like his header) but he's always at the right place at the right time, so people always end up saying the opponents just keep aiming the ball at him. I'd take that over a keeper that always needs to make superhero dives because he's out of position (not implying that its courtois, before i get mauled)

You could argue that Courtois' saves were just as big of contributions as the goals from Real's frontline. He consistently produced saves to keep them in the game or keep them ahead.
You can't even compare here. Almost every save Courtois made was unworldly be it a brush of his studs to divert the ball, a finger tip save, a full stretch of his 6'7'' frame. Alisson's were routine saves. This doesn't really do Alisson's skills justice at all.
Alisson isnt a shotstopper just like VVD isnt a tackler. Simple as. You cant compare them with regular players cause they do their basics right and read the game well. Courtois is a great keeper but you cant say he is better than alison cause the stats say otherwise.

I prefer a sweeper keeper to a shot stopper so I prefer Alisson he has a lot more defensive actions outside the box meaning he has stopped the attacks before they can get ready to get a shot off and has a better pass percentage however Courtois is more of a classic shot stopper so has a better save percentage 76% to Alisson’s 75.3% I think Courtois’ shot stopping has been the best in as Madrids defence isn’t as good as Liverpool’s overall it’s down to preference though me personally wouldn’t swap Courtois for Alisson because he’s perfect for how Liverpool play as 1v1 no one is better

1. They’ll both be on top form so we’ll see lesser goals. Maybe a 1-0, 2-1 or something
2. Thibaut still conceded 4 goals against Barca and he hasn’t been very consistent. Still conceded a lot of goals in the knockout stages.
