So if it's called the true ending, then that means that the story of humanity ends here, implying that they're not planning on making Cytus III anytime soon. Vanessa's torment can only stay for so long.
I think she`s been left in a tormented state. In her last moments she apologizes to Ivy knowing her actions are unstoppable now. She realizes it`s her who`s brought the destruction of humanity. Those depressive voices of OS space caused V to go berserk are probably gone now and she`s just lying next to IV completely silent blaming herself for things that shouldn`t have happened in the first place. It`s painful to watch them lying at each others side( P.S. I hate those soldiers who shot IV. Everything could have turned out differently. Ivy`s words "Humans will help us" are engraved in my mind. In the end she`s been betrayed.
IMO the reason they choose this as the true ending is because the two other endings feature Ivy being hung in front of an army of immobilized manufactured architects, implied that human will somehow find itself being destroyed again, may not because of Architects but because other technology we will develope. The world become an unending cycle of destruction and rebirth without end. Only wiping out human may we find another way for the world to move forward.
Shiro Z , No actually, you can still play the game. However the only song you can attempt is the boss song. If you hit the notes at the end of the boss song, it should give you the good or neutral ending (depending on the choice at the “before the song”)

It is also the most likely outcome of the final battle, given that there are a lot of points where the virus could've been mishandled or the carrier killed/booted from OS, or maybe the strain on PAFF/you was too much.

Yea, the boss song takes around 6-8 minutes to play just by its self... honestly it’s quite annoying, but it’s apparently worth it if you want some Easter egg stuff. (Good and Neutral ending give you songs, Bad ending gives you a “Cytus” Note Skin)
@@TheGaMeR6901 technically, you dont really need to play the boss ending, all you have to do is tap to respond to paff and to kill vanessa, so you could potentially just wait it out and only do those two things to get the good or neutral end

Yes, when you press the notes when PAFF ask for help, you can, then, miss the note before the blackout. Bad ending completed.
