Hi Barrie. Great information thank you. Nice to see the hornby Turntable working perfectly. Just bought one myself, lots of people said don't, but I've taken the chance. Not flitted it probably yet but seems to be working ok. Great vlog thank you for sharing. ....Pete....😮
Its a shame about the BR western region diesel hydraulic s as i have been lucky to have crewed a class 14 ' teddy bear ' and one of my favourite locos ive been involved with and even have a heljan 00 scale one , but found it so reliable and we used it for what they had been designed for in among heritage passenger trains we used it for engineering trains and shunting , i would love to meet drivers who drove them in the 60s to compare with , but a lovely loco class.your class 42 is lovely and ive got a lima and mainline ones.
@@BarrieDavisModelRailways Wernt around 400 built with the Packard version of the RR merlin in Canada? Also some had Bristol Hercules engines so think only around half had RR engines?

Lovely locomotives, thanks for presenting!
Glad you like them!
I have an ancient Mainline Warship with directional lights. It runs well, now that I've changed the final drive cogs.
I did the same, makes such a difference
@@thedepot7416 Apparently, they left the factory with the fault
