A tip is that u can flash while doing Vi's R do change the angle mid R. A lot of people dont know this and will catch them off guard.
yeah, not too useful in a 1v1 but if you absolutely have to knock them with q after in a seperate direction or flash onto a like 50 health enemy it can come in clutch in some rare cases.
ye u can also flash right at the end when u are about to hit someone with q, to another champ in diff directions and q them both even hook 1 of em in flash direction. hard to land tho

back in season 3 to 4. I played around 100+games of mid Vi with the first item called "Spirit of the Elder Lizard" a jungle item that has a similar burn effect of red buff. E enables on hit of that item and it was for a cheap 2k gold, you can perma harass mid lane with slower item build than you and wave clear was so fast you can steal . had like 80% wr on mid vi back then.
I played a lot of vi mid before the durability patch, glad to see its back.

Lethality Vi is fun way to delete squishy champs.
I started playing lethality Vi jungler as an experiment when duskblade was introduced.
as soon as you finished the duskblade, you can almost always 1 shot squishy champs with just Q+AA+E or at least remove 80% of their health bar
(that was back when duskblade is kinda OP)
along with lethality is having 40% CD reduction, at level 16, your ult is like sub-30 seconds
I remember killing lethality Rengar level 18 with lethality Vi level 18 even though he got the first hit via jumping from bush, I killed him because of stun-lock + low CD of Q.
the sequence is something like non-charged Q + aa + E + R + aa + non-charged Q + E

I played mid vi in like season 7 with old triforce and youmuus. Was pretty nuts
how do you get over her mana issues? Presence of Mind + Manaflow is my usual way but I feel like I need resolve secondaries, mainly for Second Wind.

Sry if someone else already asked, but why is essense reaver better option that tri force? Is reaver that much cheaper or is the damage higher? Idk but crit from reaver seems to be like a wasted stat if there are no other crit items in the build and triforce stats are all kinda usefull on Vi
vi in lane uses a lot of mana and if you take HoB + resolve tree then you dont get any from runes, so either you take tear, build essence reaver, or you're just permanently OOM bc vi is an ability spamming character

Never because bot lane is ALWAYS the carry role because bot lane ad marksmen are insanely broken. GL winning a game without them. On the rare occurance you get something like seraphine bot lane you at lest usually have something like tristana mid or another hard carry.
Your primary carry is never top.
And gnar doesnt play like an adc hes a splitter, lane bully and initiator. 99 times out of 100 he isn't your primary dps and teamfight.

hey dobby, question: why take HoB instead of Electrocute for this type of playstyle? wouldn't it deal more DPS than the extra attack speed from HoB?
HOB is better in the early game trades, and these are VERY IMPORTANT because this playstyle NEEDS to snowball, so being able to deal 50% of the enemy laner's hp level 1 with q + aa + aa + aa is essential... You need to perma fight in most matchups during laning phase in order to get ahead. Notice how cs'ing isn't too important. Lethality vi is a bit like Katarina who also "just" needs a couple of kills to take over the game ; )
I was testing this even on Anivia and I realised HoB gives more damage. It probably scales later but in early trades if you can AA then HOB wins
Another thing to mention is that vi is in the bracket for the highest hp regen in the game

Ghostblade is good for the active which gives you movement speed whenever you want. Opportunity is good for running away after jumping into a group and killing somebody.
