I would say its more of a remake than getting replaced but that new island screams Umbral waaaaaaay more than Twilight Replacing an Umbral Map with a better Umbral Map just sounds like a remake y'know?

Cool, although my weapon combo will for sure be Sword (best all-purpose weapon) / Chain blades ( best wounding weapon) So first, I can get that bad boy all wounded, and then finish it off with Sword!
Hey, sorry for asking, but what happened with this game? Monster hunter wilds has gotten me back into the loop so i have no idea whats gone on in like the 2 or 3 years ive been gone. I thought the devs all but abandoned the game truth be told
Not at all, I'm happy to help. Basically the devs have added very little in the past year and a half. No new behemoths, no new hunt passes, and no weapons. We've only had the usual routine events for each holiday season, and some double xp weekend events. However, they told us last year that they are going to be completely overhauling the game in the summer of 2024. We have had updates every month on what will be added. Although summer is nearly over, they say they are about 90% ready to launch. It seems there will be countless additions to the game such as weapons, new behemoth, new legendary behemoths, pet followers, new events, and much more. They are completely redoing how we level up weapons/armour, and their animations and they will be reworking all the islands etc.. A bit shameless but if you want some background noise, feel free to check out my podcast, it covers basically everything.
Still a fairly good player base, not as good as launch. However, the game is about to be completely overhauled from the ground up in a big 2.0 update in the coming weeks where they expect a huge return to the player base.
Adding onto that, players who get all weapons reforged before the update, (lvl 20 and then reset), will receive a special crown. I’d personally recommend coming back now and spending the time grinding to get the special crown, but if it’s really not something you care about I’d wait.
LOL naw bro, there is no cheating. I was able to kill a trial boss easily in 10-15 seconds. Once you were at max power and knew your build, trials were way too easy. This was a huge community gripe, not sure where you been. LOL
I have to agree with Grenade here. I don’t get anywhere near numbers of 10-15 seconds but I have managed in under a minute. Once you learn how to truly master a build, and you get the right crit damage, then it’s very possible.

They have confirmed it will be a bow. There was a concept shared on Reddit but it won’t be launched with the update.

They will become new elements. Think I seen gnasher will be a terra behemoth, quillshot frost I think, and not sure about Shrike. Maybe umbral?
