One of my favorite TB's was miniature warfare, where all the cards you play cost 1 and are 1/1. We've only had this brawl one time. Crossroads we've had 10 times. We've been getting less and less build a deck brawls because they are less attractive to new/casual players who don't have a collection. But TB is one of the best parts of having a large collection in the game. Cards that may never have once seen play all of a sudden could be perfectly suited for a given brawl.
Misplay in the end. If he wanted to play 2 rogue cards, it would've been better to plat the Tea first. If he bricked, he still could've played the hustler. But if he got somethink like 3 backstabs or 3 preps, he could've play more rogue cards.

Yea I guess the decks are not decks.... Like... they lack a decklist in the spaghetti. Nothing strange there, just shows how glimmerroot and the brawl are programmed.

You surely read something like: "TH-cam is drunk again 500 likes and 4 views", to a user that's strange to a programmer that just shows that there is more control on views than likes so likes are faster to count for TH-cam than views.
I thought of a tavern brawl, you could call it like "Gimme that!" where you make a deck from random cards and battle your opponent. After the match, you lose your deck and you get your opponents deck and this cycle just repeats till the end of the brawl
I had a pretty exciting game. Opponent got the map legendary, topdecked the next part, played it. The topdecked the last part and changed his whole deck to legendary cards. Got down to 10 health, drops Reno. Then I have lethal after a few turns. Next turn and drops second Reno... I lost
Some matches I got all "silence" cards. Others, I got perfect answers. Or over-powered things. Slow play and wait for RNG to swing in your favor. lol. It did expose new players to new stuff.
Easy tavern brawl design and easy to implement if harder ones are spaghetti intolerant is start with 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 mana make minions freeze on play 0 spells 0 minions only 1,2,3,ect. Drops start as a deathknight, ect, ect... Literally 30+ brawls unused super easy to try.
I want to play *as* the Lich King in a tavern brawl. :< Maybe Lich King vs Tirion Fordring (with better adventurers). (Expert Rogue, Immovable Tank, etc. ) Or Lich King vs Neferian, with both of them outright cheating in their own ways, ha ha.
I swear, if I had a nickel for every time Blizz was lazy and said 'fuck it, give the peasants Crossroads, and tell them to thank us for it', I'd have enough money to buy the legendaries the pack RNG refuses to give me.
If they carry on releasing old shitty brawls like this then they will eventually loose a lot of players. If Bli$$ard don't keep things fresh Hearthstone will die a slow death..

Why do you create a comprehensive end-to end guide for new players that takes a deep dive in to the correct setups for their account, deck selection, the different deck archetypes (like control) and whatnot? Then you wont have to feel like you are "crushing the soul of a noob" every 2nd game you play....
I don't know why they keep doing this brawl. With the amount of money they get from the packs, especially with the price increase, they can afford to make better brawls
I wish Blizzard would permanently retire Crossroads. Why don't they bring back interesting tavern brawls from the past? They keep bringing back the same boring ones over and over.
