Great video and exactly what I wanted to do with one column I need to cover in my workshop out in the middle of the floor. Mine will not be as finished as yours, but I need to run electric down it to a duplex set of 120V 20A receptacles and with enough space to run a second in the future (220V table saw outlet, pre-mounted empty box at the ready). I'll probably opt for 1" or 1.5" S40 PVC conduit and make my buildout a tad larger to fit.

Really appreciate the attention to detail! Looks great! Curious if you can/have done a vid on the pour spout you made for your paint can? I hate when paint fills that rim for the lid.

I like your idea. Was wondering how this would work with using 2"x 6" for the interior supports that hold the vertical boards. Also, I only have a hand drill. Do you think this will work without a drill press?

Nice work! But do you think the conduit was a little overkill? Wire going to be behind solid wood.

Hi Mitch, great video. Now that it's been a few years, would you have covered it with drywall or has the wood worked out for you? Or, would you have used an outdoor fascia engineered wood instead? Also, thanks for the jig you supplied. Word of warning to those that intend to use it, ensure that you print it "actual" size and not let your print driver "fit" it to the page, or you'll end up about 5 3/16 wide vs 5 1/2 wide. Just wondering what else you put in the post, is it some kind of sensor? Great Video, Thanks
