Carnival Legend - Balcony Room (Room 5194) - Full Review

A full detailed review of a balcony room aboard Carnival Legend out of Baltimore. This is a regular balcony (not the Obstructed-View or Extended), room 5194 which is on the port side on the 5th deck.

Thank you so much for answering SO many of my questions/fears. When I went to book our cruise, the website was giving us only certain balcony rooms to choose from - 5194 being one of them. I didn't want to choose any because I wasn't sure about the elevator noise and if there were obstructions on the balcony. Your video was perfect. Also, thank you for mentioning the orientation of the plug. I'll make sure that our extension cord is compatible. Thanks again!

What floor are the balcony rooms on reason I ask because I wanted a porthole room and they're at the bottom of the boat and I didn't want to be at the bottom of the boat and the internal rooms are closer or on a higher level but I didn't want to choose an internal room because I didn't want to be claustrophobic

@@frazeeadventurescasino offers I couldn't say no to for February and spring break for cheap interior rooms. Glad I booked 3 cheap cruise offers (2 interior obstructed view and 1 suite) I don't see many more good deals coming my way for a while. Happy Cruising!

Very well done video; complete in all details. What did you like about deck five as opposed to four or six?

We just chose 5 because it was the highest deck available in the middle when we booked. I try to be around 6-7th deck because we like to be just a couple flights of stairs away from the food since sometimes the elevators are slow.

I don’t believe so, I think it is intended to be a bed just like that if needed, like for kids? It was a little wider than a standard couch.

Yup if you watch at 1:44 there is a top lock! It was higher than eye-level for me, so maybe around 5 feet 10 inches high or so?

There is not! There is a laundry room on each deck that has irons. Sorry I didn’t get any video of it but my husband went at one point to iron his shirt.

Unfortunately the “mini fridge” is not an actual fridge (we just returned from Bermuda) It’s a “cooler” but didn’t keep any of our beverages cool or cold. 😡
