@@CruiseSavvy You know most all of them were. Seems like a few of them on the food line in the buffet had some issues. We had an awesome time though! It was a great ship! We really enjoyed it!
If you like hanging out in the casino I will be posting a complete Legend Casino tour shortly. Thanks for watching. Ohh the Legend is going to Dry Dock the end of the month for some upgrades! You may see some new things when you go. FUN!
I loved the Legend we sailed during Valentine's Day and the Superbowl so people were hype and ready to party. I loved the crew, They so fun and upbeat.
Thanks for the video. My first cruise 2004 and back than loved the theme of the Conquest..The older ships decor feels true to traditional cruising. But like most furniture there comes a time to remodel and update. I am looking forward to sailing on the Jubilee but I do think that carnival should consider building and adding new Dream class ships to the fleet to replace some of the worn or dated ships.
I do agree! The older ships have that charm and tradition. It would be nice for all cruise lines to build smaller to medium sized ships for those who enjoy those smaller more intimate cruises. Plus, it allows them to go to more ports. Don't get me wrong I love a mega ship, but options are always a wonderful thing. Thank you for watching.
I didn’t notice you mentioning whether there was an outdoor theater, which I can assume, since you didn’t mention it, that there probably isn’t one. Which reminds me of the layout of the Paradise because they didn’t have an outdoor theater either. That is one of the features that I most enjoy when relaxing on the Lido deck. The tour was great and I enjoyed your video.
A new Seaside Theater dive-in movie big screen was just added with the Legends recent dry dock. 😃 she actually went into dry dock two weeks after I made that video.🙃
Hi! Thank you for posting this one. We will be on this ship this coming July out of Dover, England. Very comprehensive look in advance, thanks again. So excited.
I would strongly would hope you change your mind to find a better ship if possible. There is not much to do inside this ship. Remember that you will be inside more then likely all the time. Unless you’re a casino player.
@CUTravel1st We've booked and paid the deposit. No goin' back! Seriously, aside from shows, we don't do much else on the cruise. We're pretty chill on vacation. But thank you so much for caring enough to speak up! 🥰
This looks like the same floorplan as the Margaritaville Islander. Sure enough, the Costa Atlantica was a sister ship of the Legend and the Costa Atlantica is now the Islander.
Several updates not noted in video, as the ship recently went into a refit. medusa's is only 1 floor now, and the sports bar was changed to the heroes bar.
Thank you so much for providing that latest information! I like the concept of the heroes bar hundred percent but I love the sports bar too. I wish we could have them both.
I would call to confirm. I know the Legend is currently in dry dock getting updates but they don't specify what the updates will be exactly. The Legend had a Spa, but I am not sure if it had a thermal spa. According to Carnivals website, the Legend was not excluded from Thermal Suites. But if this is a must have for you give them a call before you book. Carnivals website shows: The Cloud 9 Spa Hydrotherapy Pool is only available on Carnival Breeze®, Carnival Dream®, Carnival Luminosa™, Carnival Magic® and Carnival Splendor®; Thermal Suites are not available on Carnival Elation®, Carnival Firenze™, Carnival Miracle®, Carnival Paradise®, Carnival Pride® and Carnival Venezia™.
It sure was! The week after we went. They didn’t change a whole lot. Changed the sports bar to a Hero bar, added the big screen to pool deck, took first floor away from nightclub and made additional cabins. And some other minor things.
Carnival is the best if you like fun 🎉we went on a princess ship just to try it well it was like a old person place so sad but carnival is fun fun fun 🎉
Keep an eye out. Bonus footage of the Casino will be coming soon! 🎰
Is the Carnival Legend Casion video available yet?

Just got back from a 10 day cruise on the mediterranean sea! We were on the Legend. Great ship.
Oh nice!!! The staff is a blast on the Legend. 🩵🚢

I loved the hidden Forest I hope they kept it after the remodel
Agree! So many parts of the older ships are cool.
Going on this ship in February, thanks for the rundown! SO EXCITED!

@@CruiseSavvyExactly, I desire to cruise to Alaska but I was not impressed by the older smaller ships that’s currently sailing from that port
Thank you for this video. My son and I are going to Hawaii Sept 2025 on this ship. Looks smaller than Panorama but that’s ok! I like smaller anyways.
Oh that sounds amazing! It is small but a classic and has that old cruise charm. Enjoy! 🩵🛳️
My first cruise was on her back in 2012, I’d love to get back on
And she just got a refurbishment!

Fantastic, I’m ready to go 🍻🍿🛳
I’ll be sailing on the Legend next year 2025, in December. Just finished sailing on sister ship the Miracle November 2024!
Fun!! Be sure to check out the piano sing along!
@@CruiseSavvy I will!
Going on her May next year to Alaska can’t wait
Oh that sounds wonderful 😄

You will have a great time. She just came out of dry dock so I am sure you will get to see some newer finishes/additions. :)
I am going in July also!
My husband and I first cruise, flying to Dover as well in july
Very helpful! We're going to be on the Legend to Alaska in May of next year. Looks very similar to the Sunshine!!

Are Guy's and the Blue Iguana specialty dining? Or come with the fare?
Hi! They are both complimentary! No extra charge. :)

Thank you for great video. Considering an Alaskan cruise 2025 in Sept from San Francisco on this ship
It's an older ship, but has charm. She is going into dry dock soon so should be some updates by Sept.
Wonderful I wana go again w my parents.
I am sure the would love that!!
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. Hiw many jacuzzi on the ship? Thanks in advance.
Thanks! There are 3 Hot Tub Spas and 3 Salt Water Pools (4'4" deep). I also believe they have an extra hot tub back in the Spa.
@@CruiseSavvy WOW awesome, Thanks so much. Boarding The Legend This Friday 😀
Hi, Nice video
Hey, thanks! Glad you enjoyed.
Yay thnx for sharing
You are so welcome.
Thanks 🎉
Of course!!
Yesterday, my friends and I went to breakfast and on a whim, we booked 9 Days Europe from London, England. We will be cruising on Legend 🚢
Nice!! She would have just been in dry dock for some updates too! Enjoy. 😀
Did you travel before or after the Francis Scott Key Bridge fell?
We were on a week before it fell! Crazy.
Was this before the dry dock upgrade?
Yes it was just a few weeks before.
Is there a thermal spa?

Nope, not for me. Looks pretty awful to be honest. Each to their own.
Yup!! That’s why there are so many options.
It’s a fun ship food great 🎉I have been on many carnival ships more fun then princess ships
Stop being rude
