Investments that Make Our Homes Greener

Homes are responsible for roughly 22% of global energy consumption and 17% of carbon dioxide emissions. Regulations mandating minimum energy efficiency seem to have been successful at reducing household energy bills, but less so at reducing house emissions. Drawing from a UK case study, Professor Nuno Clara will discuss the impact of government regulation on rented residential properties and what should be done to make houses greener.
