Why these two countries always seem to be at odds with each other?
Long story short, it's because of Nargorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan claiming it's their historical lands when ethnic Armenians live there. They don't want Armenians there but at the same time they promote Armenophobia as part of their education.
They seem to play an information war too and creating a narrative to say they are the victims. It's a classic tactic also used by Turkey to justify their 'crimes'.
One is historically part of the region; the other is Turkic from Central Asian migrants. One is Christian; the other is Muslim.
