Most of these candies are actually retro. My parents used to eat them when they were kids, but it is hard nowadays to find ones like these. The Thai Tingkat is called "Pin-toh" in Thai and I have never seen candies like this one before! Now I want to try it. Thank you Dancing Bacons for another good video
pinto in portuguese is dick 💀
Make you wonder how old some of the candies might be!
😆
You talk too much
@@warrenvarker They typed edge lord.
Hmm I liked none of them because almost every snacks had "sugary coats candies".
I'm Pakistani, and few of these candies like them (similar) are available too 🤣 especially biscuits dipping in chocolate and chocolate having oily texture.
That fried egg candy made me feel a surge of childlike wonder I haven’t experienced in ages. Thank you, DancingBacons!
When I listened to the candy crackling, I could almost feel it in the back of my teeth. Talk about a sense memory...
hello
I like Milo malaysia

That fried egg candy put such a big smile on my face!
Mine too😆
So cute haha
Loved the sizzling! 🤣
That was so imaginative! The bonus is that it also tasted good. They should try to export that to the West!
:D
That fried egg candy is so cool, what a great idea. Looks really fun to put together and listen!
The creative geniuses really shine in every industry,
@@YourFoodFun ikr
Me who is Thai people: wait that egg things is cool?
Same if you looked at it at first you might actually think it’s real egg
hello
The ice cream candy is one of my childhood candy. I live in Malaysia, and there would always be a motorist that will roam around my neighbourhood selling candies and snacks. Thanks DB, for making this video.
That's amazing, I remember carts like that from my childhood too
Same
SAMEEE I LIVE IN MALAYSIA TOO
Me and my siblings call the motorist "bread man" bc we always buy bread from him
So neat to see the various candies. The egg one was so cute! It's the one out of them all I really want to play with!
OMG I lOVED the egg one too!
you only really see the egg ones in touristy places or at shops ran by old people, allot of classic vintage Thai candies are a bit harder to find now.
I love how it sounds just like a frying egg!
@@Kpba32 Good to know
Thai people love it too! It yummy
-me(Thai)
This was a really engaging video with a wide range of candy that many of us would never have the chance to buy and try. The fried egg one was real creative! Kudos to the makers!
This is my dream, to showcase the world's foods and interesting snacks to others
Stfu you faker, go do your own shit@@YourFoodFun
I always find it interesting how despite Australia being the country that "invented" Milo (Yes, I know it's made in Singapore but it's actually Australian) we have a very small selection of milo products
At least someone is bringing back a clone of the Milo bar
It funny how products can blow up in other countries. Or like SPAM in the philippines!
In states we have less
We hardly have it in Scotland either. Asda (Walmart) has the tinned powder and ready to drink small cans but that's it and it's pretty expensive too. The powder is £4.50 and the drink is £1.50 last time I checked. How much is it in other parts of the world?
@@angelinamac75 It's fairly expensive in Australia. Fortunately Aldi here has an excellent rip off called "NRG Max" that I actively prefer.
Thank you Dancingbacons for another relaxing video to fall asleep to
There's another channel like this one if you're interested!
@@YourFoodFun what’s the channel if u don’t mind me asking
I wasn't paying attention when you blew the flute and I just about jumped out of my seat. Haha. But that fried egg candy was pretty genius! Wow!
Haha that happened to me too, so cute and ridiculous.
@@YourFoodFun Haha, I'm glad to see I wasn't alone in that!
The candy manufacturer actually spent more cost on the packaging than the candy itself😅😅
at 11:20 we call that "Pinto" (ปิ่นโต), Tingkat is Malay language.
(Edit): I recommend to go to "100 Years Market SamChuk" (ตลาด100 ปี สามชุก) in Suphan Buri (สุพรรณบุรี), you can find retro Thai candy shop in there.
I want to go that market so badly
Door
11:03 Seeing the lollypop broken in half hurts my teeth
Wow what a great idea to use popping candy in a frying pan! It sounded so realistic 🍳😀. And it looked pretty easy to cut up too. I would say that was the best of the bunch. What do you think was the best?
Egg was best. Flute, if child knows how to play it (not annoy parents and neighbours). The rest was sad candy, too much grape.
That egg frying candy was so creative
That egg candy must bring happiness to so many.
Imagine if the creator of that candy saw this video. I would shed a tear.
I loved getting these on vacation when I was younger. But it's the amount of plastic waste that threw me off.
17:13 The BEST one!! 👍
Her: it was banana flavor me:NOOOO POOR CUTE TEDDY
11:16 that's fujimoto kiyokazu from kobato, not sure why he's there though LOL
once appeared in feed, now always in my watch history ❤️
Same, it actually inspired me to make my own channel.
@@YourFoodFun ❤️Great dude
I get the feeling that packaged food (whether candy or entrees) is packaged with a 'fun" feel to it that is aimed at the child in all of us. Many of those look similar to candies that were popular in America back in the 60's.
loved the video! the fried egg candy was really creative!
That fried egg 🍳 Candy 🍬 made me feel a surage of childlike wonder I haven't experienced in ages. Thanks! MY love 💓
I’m from thailand! Thanks for eat cheapest Thailand snack!🇹🇭
This makes me want to travel to Thailand more! Thanks Dancing Bacon for another great video! Love you guys always
You shouldn't at this moment, because Thailand has had load of floods lately
Thailand is beautiful and the food is delicious! You should definitely visit!
she got all foodies in just ONE
one
1:35 can you see what brand is that glass? Good vid tho dancingbacons
The egg jelly is my favorite too.
Would love to see more of these❣️ Candy from everywhere.
I really loved reading your commentary about these candies, these made my inner child happy ❤
Man I'd love to try those egg candies! I love it when they put little details like that!
Could you make a video about south American food, what you can fiind
Couldn't help but laugh at some of these. Some teaches these kids that you don't always get what you want. And the plum killed me! What a treat to give your kid if they are "backed up" lol. This was a pretty cool video though.
0:35 I DIDN’T KNOW THEY HAVE MILO CANDY
For anyone wondering what was played on the flute, it was the beginning to "Do Re Mi" from the sound of music
Oh wow, true!
The egg frying candy is the coolest!! I loved pop rocks as a kid
Poprocks! Nostalgic. So much ridiculous childhood candy.
When I was a kid, we'd always go to our local stationary shop, where you also could buy a big variety of gummy candy for only 5,10,20 or 50 cents - so for just 1$ (converted) you'd buy alot ☺️
The coolest candy from your choices was the fried egg. Amazing idea!
As a Thai, thank you for supporting our country's products. Thank you very much.
In my school, there are canteens and there is also choco stone that included here! But the price was a bit more expensive than this
These remind me of Candy stores in Japanese Suburbs. Seems like they got one in Thailand too. I wonder if there is anymore in South East Asia and if they are as good as Japanese Candies.
I have a similar video with Japanese snacks, although not as super cheap as these ones, I know what you're talking about though.
@@YourFoodFun I like how your videos are heavily inspired by DancingBacons. Maybe one day you guys can collab
@@gaybowser1688 That would be fun
World globe candy taste is out of this world.
That egg is pure genius!
Why do I see squid game cookies
I thought you were about to start sniffing that spry candy, lol.
I loved this video! You had my complete attention the whole time! ❤❤❤
4:31 when I was a kid, I pretended like I was smoking cigarrete with this one, back in my day, papar was just white and doesn't have black and red logo on it.
I love retro candy the most. Brings back my childhood. Some of the packaging on these candies reminds me of it
How sad that all that plastic packaging will eventually end up in landfill 😢
I absolutely LOVE Thai candy! The chocolate stones and Milo chocolate are delicious :)
Oh yeah, can't forget Pipo
I used to eat the grape ice cream cone candy all the time! They used to sell those in Singapore, but I don’t see them anymore 😢 I miss them! There’s a choco vanilla one too
Fried egg candy is very unique.
Wonderful things!
I love your videos 🍭🍬
I am an American, wanting to eventually move to Japan. That is my dream. These videos are showing me the stuff I will enjoy. and yes I am trying to learn Japanese, slowly but surely as well as figure out certian quisine I enjoy, So far I have learned I enjoy good sushi, Soba, BBQ and when done right, white Rice. I even enjoy Japanese snacks. This channel helps show me some things I can try to see if I will like them or not.
These Thai candies sure look unique. If I happen to visit Thailand in some way, then maybe I could try out these candies. Dancing Bacons are the best at what they do. They appreciate a whole lot of cultures across the globe.
Yes the amount of chemistry and plastic is really unique
Not thaï Because Earth and jewel there was in Korea
Koahkutou it's Japenese sweets
I want to be able to travel and show people crazy delicious weird food too! I love dancing bacons.
What I'm writing is a reaction to plastic packaging, not your films, which I like very much.
It is in the seas around the Asian countries that there is a huge problem with plastic everywhere, even in fish and animals.
This is how you see your video with an extremely large amount of plastic, in all packaging.
You get really pissed off at how everything has to be covered with plastic in some countries.
With outer packaging, inner packaging and individual packaging. Put everything in the same paper bag instead.
This was so much fun! Such novel candies! I really want to try that egg one. Thank you for the smiles today! Much love from Dixie. 💕
There's so much candy out there, feels bad knowing we won't get to try it all but at least we can attempt to :)
@@YourFoodFun Exactly! 😄
Sending love to you both as always!! I hope you're both having a wonderful weekend. 💙😘🥰💙
Those stone candies reminded me of the rock candies on a stick I found when I was a kid. It was so fun, but the only way to 'eat' them was to suck on it for hours. It was perfect for long car rides, and only cost $1-2 USD back in the 90's.
When I saw the fried egg candy,I was like,"Tell me it comes with a little frying pan. " LoL. I love it.
I love your channel ❤
I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR ANOTHER VIDEO LIKE THIS THANK YOUU
That egg candy is soooo cute!
I have watched this video a lot of times and this has always made my day, thank you DancingBacons for this awesome video!
And I love the candies you picked! Love from the Philippines 🇵🇭❤️
That fried egg candy is a really clever design.
The fried egg candy is very cool!
5:55 under the biscuit pack has a arrow and a Thailand word : ''open'' . You should open the package by that
Novelty candy and unusual candy treats are my favorite! I will never get tired of them.
I love your videos, it’s amazing seeing what foods are available in other countries!
Here in Canada we don’t really have a lot of our own stuff
Yeah cause yall use all our stuff (usa)
@@klairdelun456 no
Lol, that's Fujimoto from Kobato on top of that lunch box candy. Kind of random and obscure for them to put him on it 😂
I thought I recognized him! What the heck? An decade-old show and a minor character.
Great video as always. I am very impressed with the concept of that egg frying in the pan. Very clever mind created that.
Great minds are in every sector!
@@YourFoodFun for sure
One ticket to Thailand and Singapore please..
These reminds me of vintage snacks for kids with gimmicks on each of them. So much nostalgia!
Being able to walk into a store and there's hundreds of candies waiting. The expression, "kid in a candy shop"!
Fantastic! What an insightful tour!
A tiny Fun Fact: The stone-shaped chocolate is served similarly in Poland, but with nuts, to make it more hard, like stones. It does still have chocolate, but it's more of a chocolate-covered nut with a sugar coating, and they're more colourful, like the rainbow.
To bad they don't have cool stuff like this in the States. Super enjoyable! Thank you for sharing!
The egg & pan is the cutest candy I've ever seen 😍
Thank you for the relaxing video, I especially loved that egg candy at the end.
А что, когда смотрите видео, напрягаетесь? 🤷♀️
Seems like the egg is the favourite of the day.
0:57 this one have a sequence called “Hi! Cola” it have the same way to eat
The right way to eat is to smash the packet and pour it into your mouth
These are all retro and actually rather hard to come by 😮 I really loved egg candy, had it very often when I was in primary school
Thanks for remind me a childhood, some of them have more than 30 years released.
I used to eat almost every candy that you showed in the video when I was young.
@04:50. The packaging for the mint chewing gum is a copy of the Black Cat cigarette brand in the 1920s. And the fact that the gum is in sticks plays on the similarity as well. We used to get sweet cigarettes in the 1960s and 70s and these are the same kind of thing. At least the gum wasn't wrapped in yet more plastic! I love these videos which are fascinating, but do wonder about the huge amount of plastics used.
Yes I guessed this is the real Black cat cigarette my friend as I saw when I was a child here but it's a cigarette so it's like it's been banned so they could not make the gum looks like cigarettes anymore. Lol
Now I know your age. Hehe😝
@@onalonan Yes, I do confess. I am an oldie. 😊 That's why I love these videos so much. I travelled a lot when I was young and I miss it. Now I can travel through the eyes of lovely people on YT who share their adventures and experiences. I will never be able to buy sweets in Thailand....but I can watch others do it!
Anime character at 11:15 is Kiyokazu Fujimoto from Kobato :)
i use to have a lot of that Jelly toy Ultraman rubber thing lol
Egg candy is sure the best one!
I felt like that "it was banana flavor" was in the voice of disappointment.
what camera are you using?
13:49 my fav ice cream cone candy 😍😍😍. I ate them alot back in the 1990s
THAILAND CHEAPEST CANDY THIS IS INTERESTING FLAVOR
W h a t
15:55 this looks more like an Opel Logo than superhero, lmao
Really cute and creative candies, but I can't help thinking that some of the candies look like drugs lol
My favorite was the lollipop stamp! What a fun video 🙂
early squad!! ❤ please visit cambodia next!
The fried egg candy was the most cool ! I really want to try it 😁🍳
So cute, fried egg for ants.
The jelly strip is like Fruit By the Foot in America and the fried Egg was so stinking cute! I watch all your videos here in Indiana, USA. Love you guys so much!
OMG froot by the foot and froot rollups. Do you remember sodalicious and dunkaroos?
Hello fellow American peeople
I wish that I could send you some neat candies from my area! I love seeing what you think of the things available in your area and I think it would be awesome for you to try things that aren't readily available to you.
