I decided to put my first piece on the door of my Joy. I couldn’t think of anything close by that I might not toss out in the next week or two. lol I’m in the process of decluttering my apartment.

Set up was helpful but my cut didnt come out nearly as smooth as yours did. Im not sure what i did wrong but its not something i would want to place on anything because its not really smoothe. I did the flower and it was hard to get it started removing it from the vinyl. Any ideas?
You can use any kind of paper! Cricut has Smart Paper that is available to use and allows you to cut/draw without a mat, but if you want to use regular paper, you can just apply it to a cutting mat! Hey I got a cricut joy today an it won't cut keeps coming up with a solid red light. The blade cutting part is to the left idk how to get it back to the middle an if that's what's causing it not to feed through an gam when it goes to start cutting
You definitely can as long as your envelope fits in the machine- it couldn't be any wider than 4.5"! Maybe we will make a video showing how to do this!
For people who don't have a lot of room in their crafting space or can't afford one of the larger machines of a different brand, this machine seems ideal for smaller scale paper crafters. I would hope that Cricut would make a version of the software for the Kindle Fire tablets. If it's not in the Kindle Appstore, you can't put it on your tablet without allowing third party apps and they really don't want you to do that.
We completely agree with you! It's so nice to be able to tuck it in smaller spaces. Also, that is a great suggestion! You should submit it to Cricut if you haven't already :)
Can someone tell me if Cricut Joy works with Chromebook? I feel like returning this Cricut. So frustrated. I bought this to make personalized ornaments and I can't find a way to "CURVE" it. It doesn't appear on my screen. Please help.
Design Space, the software required to use the Cricut Joy, requires a Windows or MAC operating system. Chromebooks run on Google's Chrome operating system, which is not compatible with Design Space.
Under the menu button in Design Space you can click on New Product Setup and it should walk you through a test cut. You can also click on Cricut Access if you would like to sign up for that as well.
I was given a Joy as a gift. My Joy will not pop up to pair with my mobile device, or my computer. I have been at this for hours and I cannot figure out what the issue it. I am unable to to pair to Bluetooth. HELP!

You skipped a step where you didn’t say you had to create an account please be conscious of that when you’re given instruction via the computer only on the phone app

You are correct! You can use the Joy without Wifi, but I would definitely recommend connecting once and a while for updates :)

My joy didn't ask me to subcride to the cricut subscription or to do a test cut. I have an android phone. HELP!!!

I am annoyed, my phone is a Galaxy A50 and it is not supported. My lame laptop has no bluetooth!! What a waste of money for me.
