This movie, particularly this scene saved my life. I was in a very dark place in my life. Failed Marriage, No job, Thinking about Unaliving myself. I was making preperations to end my life. I turned on the tv to have background noise. I saw this scene on tv. I have never laughed so hard in my life. In that moment i realized i had a reason to live, I got my life together. Several Years later i met Mr, Reeves. I told him this story and he told me, he was happy he could bring joy to someone's life even in a dark place.
One of my favorite movies ever!!! Have watched it at least 20 times over the years! I first watched just because the beautiful Keanu was in it, but fell in love with every character, the plot everything! And it's a true story, which makes it even better!!
I just loved the picture , in general . Whenever I was ' sick of being single' I'd watch this DVD . I wish that I still had it , I was broke before I went into the Army and sold many DVD's and other personal items.
when they talk about inclusivity and today they try to sell it as something new and groundbreaking, I remember this scene. here we have a group of black, white, japanese, british, deaf, police, ex convicts, christians, dancing to a song by one of the best black singers in history and we all love this movie, this is inclusion well done and The movie is over 10 years old.
03:09..."And just for the record, I would've loved to have been there to see martel get his ass kicked." LOL. One of the funniest lines in the movie and suits that scene so much.
One of the greatest movies that was ever made. So many awesome scenes and every actor that played a role played their part perfectly. Just like the actors in The Godfather. Just simply amazing.
It looked like they were having a pretty damn good time, too. I could watch that over and over and over again. Probably my favorite part of the whole movie.
I watched this when I was a kid and fell in love with this scene. Team bonding at its finest. Gotta give it to Orlando for this scene. Wonderful job 👏 Also this is on netflix too
I heard this song on the radio today driving with my brother and we started singing along. Every damn time I hear it, this scene jumps into my head. I just had to come to TH-cam for a video fix!
Man thats how you judge who your true friends are. A true friend will be by your side in jail singing I will survive doing the electric slide with you lmmfao😂😂😂
I don't know if The Replacements is, objectively speaking, a good movie (even though I love it), but one thing we can all agree upon is that it showed the world that real men can bond over Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive", a true hymn to female empowerment. For some reason, that's so fucking cool...
Two things I remember when I hear this song. First being a kid and hearing it for the first time. Second, this scene with them dancing. This is my give up song after I lost the fight. 😂

I literally burst into laughter when he said 'can't we all just get along', damn... this movie is ten thousand percent underrated.

Great movie
Have loved this movie since the first time I watched it way back when. This scene, and the "What are you afraid of?" scene are PRICELESS.

This is definitely my favorite scene from the film.. I look at it differently now, after finding out Michael Jace is now doing time.
The only movie in the world I think of when this song comes on
Plus there's the martian
+Dart Mada and the angry birds movie
+Futeristic Gamer haven't seen that
Meet the spartans
My airsoft mates and i once entered the field with "I will survive" in meet the spartans style^^
Whenever I’m sad I put this scene on, never fails to cheer me up
Twenty years has past, im still watching this like im 10 year old. Back when movies had a soul.

"At first, I admit I was afraid. Shit I was petrified." Clifford Franklin is the best
You know I hate this dang song.
The guard in the background is probably thinking, "I don't get paid enough to deal with this". 😂😂😂
Yeah definitely
Hell no. That Dude is probably like, "Man, this is the most funniest shit I've ever seen in County lockup!" LMAO! 😆😂😉
Don't forget peaceful too 😂

*the deaf dude* brian murphy lol
How does he hear the snap count
Classic Keanu Reeves! Always just part of a team, giving rise to others opportunity to shine
Ted Theodore Logan is classic Keanu Reeve... Fyi
I saw Keanu dance to I Will Survive. My life's bucket list is completed. I can live in peace now.
me twoooooooooo
It wasn’t him though lol. Notice how the hat hides his face. He’s actually not a good dancer so a stunt double replaced him. No pun intended
When everybody in the squad got detention
Me and my bois
True🤣🤣
03:09..."And just for the record, I would've loved to have been there to see martel get his ass kicked." LOL. One of the funniest lines in the movie and suits that scene so much.
This is true friendship!!!
Some you can not pick who you live with and Some you can not pick who you work with.
Some are for a season and Some are for a life time.
AJ Abinanti shoulda ended w “some are for a reason” woulda rhymed n brought it all together
I seriously love this movie. Remember seeing it in theaters when I was a kid. One of my personal all-time favorite sports movies ever.
No matter how many times I watch it, this scene never gets old. It always makes me laugh and brightens my day. Such a great movie!

I watched this when I was a kid and fell in love with this scene. Team bonding at its finest. Gotta give it to Orlando for this scene. Wonderful job 👏 Also this is on netflix too
We should all be dancing like this to this song right now in these troubled times.
Just watched this ending year 2022. Classic. Popped in the old VHS tape.
Amazing chemistry among these guys. Well beyond any acting. :)))
You have Happy Hogan, John Wick, and Curt Connors in a movie dancing to I will survive.
Where was this masterpiece this entire time?!?!?!😳😳😄😄
you forgot roy from the office in this
You forgot Ace Yonamine also play in Tomb Raider The Craddle of Life
John Wick also Neo
I can actually picture these guys doing this at a comic con soon as the song starts. My mom loved this.

I heard this song on the radio today driving with my brother and we started singing along. Every damn time I hear it, this scene jumps into my head. I just had to come to TH-cam for a video fix!
They don't make enough of these fun, light hearted movies anymore.
Not nearly enough
Everything was more pure and innocent back in this times! Everything now a days is so degenerate and disgusting!
This is one of those great moments in this movie.
Man thats how you judge who your true friends are. A true friend will be by your side in jail singing I will survive doing the electric slide with you lmmfao😂😂😂
Elise Fincher u are very beauty
The unbridled joy is off the charts. I dig the message and the choreography.

Nothing says female empowerment like a song written and composed by men…
Men have finally caught up with women and are emancipating ourselves from enslavement to them. Brotherhood.
This is me and the boys during quarantine.
old movies always makes me feel good somehow :D
Back when John Wick was still John Wick
March 2020 - At first I'll admit I was afraid. Shit , I was petrified ...
