I'm doing everitng myself. The cost may vary depending in what transmission you use . But in my swap i spent approximately over $5,000
angel velazque where are you getting your parts on im on monkeywrench.com and there pretty expensive. A tercel w/ a 2gr-fe is an awesome reliable car

Amazing! What transmission are you using? Also I was thinking about 2ZZ-GE for a Tercel since I can pick up a manual trans Tercel here in california for $500 all over the place.
If you going to use a 2zzge for a swap. You better use the c60 transmission of corolla xrs 2006 6 speed
what trans and axles?
Prob the same as my MR2 2GRFE with the E153 gearbox the S54 is too weak.
Mechanicaltinkerer , i install the rav4 std transmission(4.50 final drive), but yesterday i replace the gears and final drive to a 3.90 final drive..

@@dylan4972 ok so when doing the trans do I have to order the same axles that the trans came out of
@@metuchen1357 some modifications maybe required depending on the axle length and the new engine bay it is going into.
