In this scene, lacus was worried for Kira, the bodyguard was worried for Cagalli but there didn't seem to be anyone worried for Athrun. This really feels even lonelier. No wonder he wanted to commit suicide in the last episode.

These words "To live is a fight" even became a philosophy he uses in the future. But, except for the woman who loved him, no one else seems to realise what he was going through. Everyone else's (Lacus, Mu, Murrue, arcangel crew, Waltfeld, eternel crew) attention were fully on only Kira. Cagalli was the only exception. It's sad that Athrun's friends and partners often depreciate his hardwork and difficulties. Cagalli is the only one who actually sees all that Athrun does for others and showed appreciation for these actions. Kira and Lacus has never once thanked Athrun for all the things that he's done for them. A mere "thank you" would not be too much. But, even that we have never heard any of his friends excluding Cagalli say to him.

すべてが終わったことを感じさせる雰囲気には最高の一曲。
主人公とラスボスが互いにギリギリの戦いをしたってだけでもう感動よ。
アークエンジェルのクルーのなかでサイが最初にキラの名を呼んだ事から二人の変わらない友情が感じられる。二人ともフレイの意思を受け継ぎ互いに世界平和の為にそれぞれ自分にしかできない事を精一杯やってる。
