    와, 엄청 도움 돼요! 많이 감사합니다! I’m in that weird place where I’m sort of INT, but I have a hard time finding lessons for things I’ve been curious about forever, like these endings! Great lesson :)

    • @hyeok010

      It'll be without the 요

    • @medialcanthus9681
      @medialcanthus9681 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would think the fact that you are on banmal terms with another person, then perhaps there's no need for the extra politeness or caution. As it is this "n gayo" is even more polite than just yo. (Just thinking , maybe I'm wrong)

    • @samanthablack3988
      @samanthablack3988 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you can just put 니 after the verb. Exemple: 미국에서 왔니?

  • @abeurakadabeura

    Is it mandatory to use "요" with this form even if I want to talk to a close friend ?
    For example "너 바쁜가 ? " is it correct ?

    • @ProfYoonsKoreanLanguageClass
      @ProfYoonsKoreanLanguageClass  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      -요 is only required when honorifics is required. To your friend, -(으)ㄴ가?, -나 should be used.

  • @Zjivarra
    @Zjivarra 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How about the polite form of verbs?
    한국에 오나요 =
    - 한국에 오시나요?
    - OR 한국에 오신가요?
    or perhaps both?
    Thank you for the great videos. I love these ❤️ 😎 Bite size lessons are easy to absorb.

    • @ProfYoonsKoreanLanguageClass

      Johann Bernard Wessels 한국에 오시나요? sounds most polite. 한국에 오시는가요? maybe possible.

    교수님, 안녕하세요? '계시다'는 동사인데 왜 '계신가요?'라고 써요?

    • @ProfYoonsKoreanLanguageClass
      @ProfYoonsKoreanLanguageClass  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "계시다"를 형용사로 보기도 하고 동사로 보기도 해요. 머무르는 '상태'를 얘기할 때는 형용사, 머무르는 '동작'을 강조할 때는 동사처럼 써요.
