    • @imdeplorable2241
      @imdeplorable2241 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mobileblaster It's because those houses/buildings were built before indoor plumbing and/or electricity and were retrofitted. It was the norm to run your pipes on the outside walls and penetrate it where needed. Older buildings had no studs on the interior of exterior walls, just plaster so, there was nowhere to run wires or pipe. For receptacles and lights, wires had to be fished through the ceiling and/or floor joists. That's why retrofitted houses had receptacles cut into the baseboards --- the wires were fished under the floor and out the baseboard.
      Great job on the blasting. That house looks much better.👍

    very effective & back to which way they should be,but there again,paint would,ve helped them being less pouruss & also prevent them crumbling any further

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Removing the paint won't affect the stone been able to repel water or making it more pourers it's still the same stone that's was laid years ago the only thing that's change is its back clean again Removing a microscopic layer of stone won't course any issues.
      Painting them could because once the seal has gone on the paint water gets behind and lodges no way of passing through or off the stone in turn speeding the decay process up. In my opinion it's best to leave stone and brick as a natural product and don't use paints or sealers

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it's abrasive and yes it will take a very thin layer off the stone face. And yeah it's possibly the worst job you could have done on or in your property to go with all these cons its also very loud. But the but should speak for its self look better than flaky paint? and I make the best of what I can when cleaning up I always try to leave it as good as before if not better 👍 and to answer your next question it don't make it porous taking a very thin layer of stone off the face isn't going to affect the ability to repel water. I may have court the brick and yeah it may have etched them up same again won't affect how they perform.
      The media used was just hard enough to brake through the paint and keep the stone in the best shape possible after the process

      It's the same process I can go different ways about it but yeah basically just adding water is for dust suppression.
      My pot I can fill it with water and sand or just sand dry and add water at the nozzle some jobs spec fully saturated so filling pot with water and media is supposed to be so little but a % lest dust well I use both methods ind I call that bull sniff they both seam to be the same nothing or very little to no difference part from win nozzle has more control so my perfered method 👍

      Sorry I'm very limited on the music I can pick from due to copyright laws. The library is limited to pick from I've now learnt how to turn the volume down in the editing stage so it will be background music not for ground 💞👍 thx for your feed back its appreciated 👍
