Landing Bluefin Tuna in San Diego | Fisherman's Landing (Liberty)

In this video Adam, Ford, and Elliot board the Liberty in search of massive bluefin tuna and possibly a chance at some yellowtail and an early Mahi-mahi. The boat didn't land much until we found a nice kelp paddie full of nice sized yellowtail. After that, we continued fishing for hours until we finally found a bluefin school willing to bite. Luckily, Ford hooked up. The rest is the grueling fight between the 60lb tuna and Ford.

What line rating you were running on that TN40 and what rod?

It was actually a TN20 on an older cal star rod. The line rating was 20-50lb.
