So, the logic from some people is you can’t call this a reaction video because you’ve already seen it as if people don’t revisit movies all the time because of the emotional *reaction* we have to them. Some people are just mad because they want to fast-forward through a video to see reactors doing a handstand while spinning their heads into an endless circle when Gambit shows up, instead of being a part of the conversation of what makes the movie great, and it shows.
Many people watch reaction videos to see peoples initial reactions to things, it's part of why many of us watch reaction videos in the first place. That being said as long as you say that it isn't your first watch or that you know about what's upcoming there's no reason that you shouldn't be able to react to things you've seen before, many people like that as well.
I think it’s just generally expected that people like to see others’ initial reaction to things because that’s the “product” that’s typically been delivered to them (and the “point” of reaction videos). I’m sure there are hella people being whiny and insufferable but I’m sure there are just as many others who don’t care either way.

Hector to your point, the dead Wolverine is the same one from Logan. He pulls out a piece of wood from the tree he was impaled on and it was in the same state. At first glance it's obviously because they can't show Tom Holland's face to avoid paying royalties to Sony, but you can also assume that in-universe it's because Peter's memory has been erased from the world by Doctor Strange, though at this point in time both Peter and Strange were Blipped so that theory doesn't hold up. However one layer you can miss is that, if you take a look at the helmet blocking Tom from view, they used the exact helmet from the kid at Stark Expo in Iron Man 2, so they basically wrote this visual gag to confirm Tom's headcanon that the kid was actually Peter before becoming Spider-Man.
The first time I saw this in theaters, right after the Chris Evans after credit scene, an older lady behind me mumbles "Well... that was just uncalled for. Geez." It made the whole thing 1000% better, lol.
Also, I’m not sure if the Fox Universe had branches. I think they had one timeline and simply moved forward and backward through it. So as the movie says, that was indeed Logan’s grave.
A comment re Pyro taking Johnny's fire "away" . In the 2nd Xmen movie where Logan and the kids hid in Iceman's home? The Police shot Logan in the head, then Pyro lost it and started blowing up the police cars? Rogue touched him, took his power and started PUTTING THE FIRES OUT. So, Pyro has the ability to control fire , and reduce it, he just can't create it. Johnny can create it on himself and fly , but we've never seen him be able to remove fire from another object once he creates it. I wouldn't call this Pyro being more "powerful" than Johnny, but since Johnny wasn't expecting it Pyro beat him. So, yes, this was consistent with the previous films !!
Appreciate the post-movie talk. I’m on the back end of my adult life. I was fresh out of college the summer X-men came out. I couldn’t even get anyone to GO SEE the damn thing. Now they’re the biggest films in the world. And the guys aren’t wrong about the younger generation. Not that they don’t know what they have; more that I’m excited for what they accomplish because honestly, we live in the future. Further ahead than even the fake futures movies used to show. This time from the 1980s to now might be the best time in history to have been alive. We went from no technology to being able to do anything from our phones. Used to have to PLAN just to meet someone. “I’ll meet you at the food court in the mall around 7pm.” And hopefully it happens - hard to say cuz there literally was not a way to tell someone you’re late or not gonna make it. Anyway, between how good life has gotten (and in many ways, how weird and hard too - but that’s an ‘always’ thing) and how great this era was between X-Men in 2000 and now, I’m happy.
Hector makes fair points, but I'm pretty sure this movie confirmed that Deadpool and Logan do take place in the same universe. They make that point several times and even showed footage from the Logan movie. Yes there are inconsistencies. But the X-Men timeline has always been messy, and I don't think Marvel really cares to make sense of those small details.
I saw this in 3D for the first time watching in the theaters as well. Highly recommend it if you get a chance, loved all the love given to the Fox movies...... definitely teared up in theaters during the end credits. i believe gambit stayed in tva from that end credit scene, because maybe tva didn’t really know where he come from either and i think that’s a smart choice because theres a space/a story to explore there if they want to do a gambit project, maybe like a gambit who work with the tva (because deadpool is kinda taking care of paradox place for now) gambit trying to find a home for him, i think that would also be a cool opportunity to bring back the og tva crew back but this time working with gambit instead of loki
The love you guys have for 3D makes me wish I liked it. I've tried it several times and It just always made the viewing experience worse. Maybe the theaters I tried had bad glasses or something, but it's always a blurry image with 3D. I thought it was because I wear glasses, but you three wear them too, so I don't know what's up.
this is probably a stupid question but as someone who wear eyeglasses, how do you guys wear the 3d glass? do u wear it with your eyeglasses or without?
Yep. They're a style called "fitovers" that have a wider frame and narrower nose bridge. This means they can go around the earpieces of your regular glasses and sit farther down your nose without being awkward. Not super fashionable, sadly. Only downside to them is because the lenses are polarized, if you get light coming in from the side (like from an Exit sign or aisle lights or someone checking their phone) it can reflect back and forth between the 3D lenses and the prescription lenses and create ridiculous glare. Sucks when you have to watch the whole movie with a hand cupped over the side of your face.
In that convoy when you see from a distance there’s a prisoner in one cage, that was Mac as a TVA Agent from Its Always Sunny but the scene was cut, also a scene where he’s eaten by Alioth was cut.
Kinda cool that out of desperation in the 90’s Marvel sold a bunch of their characters and they were all scattered, and then Marvel finally got their own movie studio and slowly started to get everyone back. I mean I guess since Disney bought Marvel Studios not long after they hit their stride it’s not as poetic, but at least it’s still kinda like all the characters are returning home.
They released the Deadpool & Wolverine Like a Pray Ep on Spotify a week after the movie’s release. It has the original version, the Battle Royale mix (used during the deadpool core fight) and the Choir version (used in the climax).
I get Hector's explanation at the beginning of the movie but it could be that Deadpool went to the future of his own timeline and not the present so Wolverine was already dead the way we saw in Logan. The only thing left is to answer why Deadpool knew about Laura and the answer could be as simple as we only saw some scenes of Logan in the TVA but Deadpool actually got a complete explanation of the situation.l
Deadpool knew about Laura because he is meta xd Not because it happened in his universe and he learned or something xD He just watched Logan and knows what happens in the movie. Thats the explanation
For the sake of simplifying the story, it's now established that the Logan that died in Logan (2017) is the same one from Wade's timeline. In other words, the X-Men films, Wolverine films and Deadpool films are now retconned, and condensed to be in the same universe (meaning several events needed to be ignored for this to work). However, lorewise, if we try to explain it, then the film makes it out to believe that Deadpool is digging Logan up in present day (2024), but this can't happen since Logan dies in 2029. But, since Deadpool did in fact, use the TempPad, then he most likely went to dig it up after his death. Meaning his Logan is pretty much alive and well in 2024... this would be the post-DOFP future (happy ending). Why Wade never went to Logan directly in his time will forever remain a mystery, because he could still do that. But plot was ignored for the sake of the meta commentary from the audience's perspective. They simply didn't want to touch the Fox Logan. Much easier to introduce a newer Logan
When "Logan" came out, it was explained that was NOT the normal Fox X-Men universe, so the other movies have not been retconned to be in 10005. Our Deadpool is in that universe though.
Idk I think this movie kinda makes it appear as if Logan and DOFP are the same timeline. We don’t really know all about the DOFP future. Just that X3 didn’t ruin everything.
The homies’ reaction to this summer’s masterpiece is so worth it lol, this movie is the definition of bringing all fun, heart, and bloody hell sick action.
The helicarrier actually *could* be Agents of SHIELD. They built a new one in the epilogue. So if they don't do anything with the show, it can easily be implied.
I don't know if he was doing it, but Paradox really seems inspired by Richard E.Grant's performance from Hudson Hawk, maybe a little homage since he was in Loki
@@HeroesReforged I mean yes part of watching a reaction channel is to see their blind reactions (that’s what blind wave is for) but a reaction also includes your view and how it changes over time. I just finished watching the reel rejects X-men marathon and I just loved watching Andrew react to things he forgot about or things he missed. And it’s the same reason I watch the breakroom cuz those are genuine reactions that have had a little bit of time to process what they just watched. Watching and listening to conversations about movies and tv shows and understanding different perspectives allows you (me at least) to get the most out of a project.
@@HeroesReforged Reaction is a response to something unknown, if you're anticipating it you're not reacting to it, you know it's coming no surprise, no magic, it's like telling a person a joke but they already know it, steals is all the fun away. So you're Kind of misses the point of a reaction, this really just is a commentary, and the fact that you think it's weird, really underlines you just don't understand the point.
On the note that Hector says about this grave not being the same one from Logan- I wonder if it could be explained that from Deadpool’s line in the Deadpool 2 credit sequence about him “cleaning up the timelines”, perhaps through some time travel/multiversal shenanigans he ends up actually merging the X-Men timelines together or something else to where and this actually is the same grave?
I hope that Laura becomes the new Wolverine for the MCU. I would love if we had The Cavillrine as our canon Logan, but I truly think it’s time that Laura becomes the new Wolverine just like in the comics. She is worthy of the mantle and the costume. Plus Dafne Keen has said she would love to play Laura again as much as possible. Also, I would’ve loved if the post credit scene for this movie was Laura finding out what Deadpool did to her father‘s grave, Laura kicking Deadpool in the balls with her foot claws over and over, and then forcing him to re-bury her dad and fix the wooden X on his grave.
Technically Laura wouldn't be able to find Logan's grave because he's not dead yet. This movie takes place in 2024 whereas Logan takes place in 2029, so there should be 2 Logans in this timeline for the next 5 years until the events of Logan play out. That also means that there are two versions of Laura in this timeline too, one who's currently a child being experimented on and the older one DP and Wolverine resued from the Void.
@@carlgibson285 sorry but that doesn’t make sense. Honestly, it’s just because this movie decided to finally not give a shit about the horrible continuity of the Fox Marvel timeline. For example Deadpool (while he can break the 4th wall) should NOT know about Logan dying nor the existence of X-23 because it’s 5 years in the future. And Paradox made it sound like Logan died already in Deadpool’s timeline. Hell, they never even explained how Deadpool could jump to another timeline when Cable’s time machine only allowed him to go back-and-forth in time in their own respective timeline.
I don't think this Logan was at the mansion when it got attacked in X-Men 2. Did you notice that the sling ring had two infinity stones attached to it?
1:12:25 let's not re-write history. The Blade movie came out in 1998 while the x-men movies were 2000, 2003 & 2006. While they made large box office $$s, many fans (courtesy of the 90s cartoon and with the exception of part 2), were _"meh, we'll take what we can get... but there were a number of letdowns with the movie(s)."_ I was about college age when Blade came out, and first saw it in London. Not many there knew about Blade's comic ties, but i also don't think they had Spider-Man the animated series cartoon that started in 1994, and had Blade in its 2nd season. They did know about Wesley Snipes though, as he had a number of popular movies by that time (dramatic roles, comedic roles and action roles).
While there probably wouldn't be X-men movies without Blade movies, there is little doubt X-men movies were what could be considered a break through. Blade has always been an obscure character, even in terms of comic books, however great he has always been. Cartoon audience was not the wider movie audience at the time, heck it's is not so even now, after two decades of the MCU, Fox, Sony and whatnot. Blade delivered two names, one action movie star (Snipes) and one A/B-lister (Kristofferson) star. X-men delivered several Hollywood At-the-time-A-listers such as Hally Berry, Famke Jensen, Patrick Stewart or Bruce Davison. There is no contest.
Biggest line of the movie: “I’ve been waiting a long time for this team up” and we’re talking about points of the mask! Other than that awesome reaction.
Dude, the fact that the Deadpool corp kept shooting at Nicepool, I think they hate his butt. He must have bragged about his gorgeous face which could be why he can't regenerate, he has no mutation, hence no hideous face
Azazel is not the same actor, it is the same makeup and costume, not the same actor. Jason Flemyng is way too old to play such a physically demanding role anymore, teleportation effects or no .Eduardo Gago Munoz plays him here.
That little dog is either the current or last year's winner of the Ugliest Dog in the World contest. I wonder if part of his prize was being in this movie or Ryan saw him and said, "I gotta."
honestly, i think the early releases to VOD and Blueray have more to do with the fact that people are only going to see movies in the theater once... i don't know many people that go back for multiple watches in the cinema anymore. especially families and such. going once can be up to $50 in some cases.

Logan is canon to Deadpool's universe
Hector makes fair points, but I'm pretty sure this movie confirmed that Deadpool and Logan do take place in the same universe. They make that point several times and even showed footage from the Logan movie. Yes there are inconsistencies. But the X-Men timeline has always been messy, and I don't think Marvel really cares to make sense of those small details.
Saw this 3 times in theaters with my dad it was so much fun each time😎🔥👍🏽
I saw this in 3D for the first time watching in the theaters as well. Highly recommend it if you get a chance, loved all the love given to the Fox movies...... definitely teared up in theaters during the end credits. Adam from Preview'd said it best, they weren't the greatest movies ever but they were there for us when nothing else was
50:22 Well, when Loki creates the Yggdrasil of timelines at the end of season 2, then all their timelines would come back.
You should look at the sling ring again when Casandra pulls it out. It has two of the infinity stones in it, the time stone and the reality stone.
1:06:42 The Scoutmaster Kevin reference is from the opening fight scene in Deadpool 2 (the fight against the Chinese gangsters)
been having a really rough day so far and this is the first thing i see on my recommended when i open youtube, it's like the universe knew i needed this 😂❤ thank y'all for the great content, keep up the good work 🙏🏻
I'd be so down for a Blade trilogy and Prisoners reactions!
Actually, if it wasn’t for the first live action Superman movie none of this would have been possible.
Actually. If it wasn’t for the Batman Tv series with Adam West, the first Superman movie would not have been possible either
Actually, if it wasn't for the original creators none of this would have been possible
i believe gambit stayed in tva from that end credit scene, because maybe tva didn’t really know where he come from either and i think that’s a smart choice because theres a space/a story to explore there if they want to do a gambit project, maybe like a gambit who work with the tva (because deadpool is kinda taking care of paradox place for now) gambit trying to find a home for him, i think that would also be a cool opportunity to bring back the og tva crew back but this time working with gambit instead of loki
10:37 In the movies he actually lives in Vancouver Canada, not New York
16:50 I would put money on the whole "Anchor Being" thing being Paradox's own made-up bs which we will never hear about ever again.
Imagine Rio who might actually be Death interacting with DP in a upcoming movie or series
Chris Evans was 24 in the first Fantastic 4 movie.
Woo, I'm about to make a name for myself here!
this is probably a stupid question but as someone who wear eyeglasses, how do you guys wear the 3d glass? do u wear it with your eyeglasses or without?
Sucks when you have to watch the whole movie with a hand cupped over the side of your face.
i wear them over. it feels really awkward but yknow only gotta wear it for like 2hr give or take
In that convoy when you see from a distance there’s a prisoner in one cage, that was Mac as a TVA Agent from Its Always Sunny but the scene was cut, also a scene where he’s eaten by Alioth was cut.
it would be a good idea to rewatch other movies like the entire X-Men while waiting for Marvel Studio's possible reboot, i'm waiting for that guys😂
All marvel movies marathon reactions would be dope tho! Yall should do that. I agree with hector aha
38:07 the hot toys figure shows him sleeveless with shoulder pads and a mask
Beetlejuice is still playing at my theater with decent sales 🤷♂️ I don’t think a digital release is that big of a difference.
What a treat!! Wasn’t expecting you guys to share your D&W reaction but so happy you did
They released the Deadpool & Wolverine Like a Pray Ep on Spotify a week after the movie’s release.
Love this one. I enjoyed seeing Patch and the Brown and yellow suit! This maybe be my favorite film of the year. Loved the reaction
It’s funny. As a kid drawing comic characters into the margins of my school notes, I was also bad at drawing feet and used Liefeld as an inspiration.
4:44 that's a good point, Hector
Idk I think this movie kinda makes it appear as if Logan and DOFP are the same timeline. We don’t really know all about the DOFP future. Just that X3 didn’t ruin everything.
After this movie, I think Marvel should made another (last one) Blade movie with Wesley Snipes! :)
There's a new TVA comic book series coming December with a new team including a displaced Gambit.
we need to normalize more reactors doing re-ractions/commentaries
People are such weirdos about this. You’re right.
Watching and listening to conversations about movies and tv shows and understanding different perspectives allows you (me at least) to get the most out of a project.
as long as they are honest about it, sure.
the thing is they ARE normalised... its just they all lying lmao
Don't think it was hard to get the N*sync song when they started titling the video to it as from the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack.
For Laura to be Wolverine we need proper Wolverine either way in mcu. Laura doesnt exist without Wolverine
@@kptmaci4979 well clearly she does exist without Logan.
Yeaaah. Was hoping you guys did this one!
10:10 Then disregard the majority of the outdoor settings in Deadpool 1 & 2 as its Vancouver 😋
So Deadpool is MJ. Deadpool and Spiderman is gonna be fun.
I did see D&W in 3D - it was awesome!
Dude, you have to all go. I hear Hector does a mean Marvel tour. Ask Zac. He'll tell you.
I don't think this Logan was at the mansion when it got attacked in X-Men 2. Did you notice that the sling ring had two infinity stones attached to it?
Is it just me or does Adam say "stupid" more often recently.
1:12:25 let's not re-write history. The Blade movie came out in 1998 while the x-men movies were 2000, 2003 & 2006. While they made large box office $$s, many fans (courtesy of the 90s cartoon and with the exception of part 2), were _"meh, we'll take what we can get... but there were a number of letdowns with the movie(s)."_
I was about college age when Blade came out, and first saw it in London.
It's not clear who the anchor being actually is now. People assume it's Wolverine because it was him previously, but it could be anyone really...
Was wondering when you were going to do this reaction. LFG!
31:25 not knowing what Adam didn't know will haunt me
Rumor has it, he still doesn't know.
The funny thing about this i think about this when i drive my odyssey
Dude, the fact that the Deadpool corp kept shooting at Nicepool, I think they hate his butt. He must have bragged about his gorgeous face which could be why he can't regenerate, he has no mutation, hence no hideous face
Azazel is not the same actor, it is the same makeup and costume, not the same actor. Jason Flemyng is way too old to play such a physically demanding role anymore, teleportation effects or no .Eduardo Gago Munoz plays him here.
Michael Myers and Jason Vorhees Vs The Wolverine? Who wins? No one?
probably who has his head cut off will lose.. and it wont be wolvie since he can regenerate even with a drop of blood
Didn’t you guys see this at the AMC at Mission Valley in San Diego?!?
Prisoners would be a great October movie for you guys!
That little dog is either the current or last year's winner of the Ugliest Dog in the World contest. I wonder if part of his prize was being in this movie or Ryan saw him and said, "I gotta."
the curtain call ❤❤❤
59:13 the last part of the Stan Lee's cameo.... in the bus poster....
Blade, the one that started the whole superhero cinema. Hey guys 👋🏻.
honestly, i think the early releases to VOD and Blueray have more to do with the fact that people are only going to see movies in the theater once... i don't know many people that go back for multiple watches in the cinema anymore. especially families and such. going once can be up to $50 in some cases.
