Nice work but you left the square tubing open in the frame. Now you need a cap to keep water out. A miter cut at the corners would have closed all the tubing. What does the upper roller look like that holds the gate vertical? Where did you source that? Thanks

I got a BFT Ultra but some times it stops part way across then moves back a bit and then I have try several times to get it working again. There is no debris on track or obstacles on the sensors, any ideas why it does this? seems to be intermittant too. thanks

Mine only does this if you physically block its path, I'd double check the gear rack for debris also, or if it's not that perhaps its a warranty issue with the motor or sensors? Let me know how you get on.

ok I got it checked, looks like the "soft edge" sensor needs its batteries replacing! I thought only the fobs used batteries but there you go! so hopefully that will fix it

Yes it stops with enough force, so if you hold your hand out and hold it back it'll stop, but if it's a small object like a leaf it'll keep going.
