great i play hockey and this helped me a bit i like to learn new stuff it will help me a lot. i wish other players do this it be great help i wonder if rob blake will teach hockey one day.
I believe it was jagr that said he was the most talented player on the penguins back in the 90s..its just that he was inconsistent...but imo top 10 players to watch...I just hope the nhl isn't as screwed up like nfl
they tend to break a lot, like a lot of other composite sticks, how many times have we seen the Habs miss a scoring chance because of a breaking stick! Habs Stanley Cup Champions 2008!!!
The real Kovy is kovalchuk , don't get me wrong Kovalev is a great p;ayer with amazing skills , but the wrist shot master is definitely Kovalchuk don't believe me search vids of him on youtube . Both amazing players
im from Montreal, and pretty much everybody wants him to stay. and i highly doubt that Bob Gainey will get Kovalev traded. In the local medias last week he specified that he wants to be part of the solution. And that he hopes to finish is career in Montreal and open a flight school or a hockey school. Him and Koivu are really implicated in a lot of events in montreal.
wow ...he took the shaft...and press on the shaft ..with the shaft...but he never forget about the shaft...and after he got more power and speed from the shaft because he took it very hard in his hand and he puted more presure on it LOL
he is actually telling you alot of important info that is overlooked, you gotta make the shaft do the work. Look how far the pucks rebound out of the net after his shots - he is putting all his weight on into those wrist shots. alot of NHL'ers making poor shot selections. Always goin for a stupid slap shot when quick wrist shots would fair better for its a) quicker release b) accuracy. Most slap shots end up hitting someones shin pads, you can thread the needle with a wrist shot.
While obviously he has a great shot and was a stud in the NHL, those nets are so tight that a mite player could shoot a puck and it would rebound out far. With that being said, those were my favorite nets to shoot on though.
ONE OF MY IDOLS AND HEROES
"hi the most important thing i learned as a kid is to use my shaft."
haha hes amazing
He'll always be Alexei to me.
This guy is amazing. Talk about gifts.
1:19 is great, gotta love kovy
The only other player i saw in my life doing things like Kovalev can with the puck was the Calgary flames magic man Kent Nilsson in the 80's
haha i love kovy. especially when he was with mario on the pens
like i said, one of my most favorite players
cuz the dude's gotz skillz!
Kovalev and Shaft have put together quite a season. He's a great player when he decides to use the rigidity of his shaft.
I like how every thing is the most important.
God bless Kovalev and his shaft.
lol i thought he kept saying Junior A's but he was saying generates lmao
This helped me get a grasp of how to actually use the flex on my stick. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get on a rink for a week. >_>
2:29 "try to take a shi..."
great i play hockey and this helped me a bit i like to learn new stuff it will help me a lot. i wish other players do this it be great help i wonder if rob blake will teach hockey one day.
Yea Kove , That's what she said !

Best dangler.
he's wiring those snapshots at the end.
you generate that power kovy!
is this a cuz i bought a dvd of his and i thought this was on it, but it was something completely different
thank you
Holy fuck was he ripping those shots at the end, my fuckin pantaloons flew off.
wow what a shot
if he can roof those shots that fast with that quick of a release he should of had at least 50 goals every year of his career
A lil unfortunate he was known as a sort of lazy player. Still a great player though
kovalev rocks the ice
I believe it was jagr that said he was the most talented player on the penguins back in the 90s..its just that he was inconsistent...but imo top 10 players to watch...I just hope the nhl isn't as screwed up like nfl
yeah you're right
@maisie761 He was coaching you in Colorado while playing hockey in Montreal last season? That's great..

i recently bought that stick. pretty kick ass.
gotta give love to the shaft, gotta handle it with care.
Beast shot!!!
Yeah that was last year, he improved A LOT.
no i love warrior hockey equipment
man he loves the shaft
Seriously, it's very hard to learn English after you've been speaking Russian all your life... And he's good (one of my fav players)
haha i love how on the boards it said warrior, anywhere they could put warrior, they put it
I like using my shaft to generate pressure.
He used a 100 flex when he used the AK27, dunno what he uses now cuz he's been using RBK lately.
Is there a record for the most times Shaft is said in a vid ? I nominate Kovy! 16 x shaft ! Lol
you have to generate power from ur SHAFTT!!! hahaha kovy rulez vote 4him allstarz=)
Kovalev's shaft is powerful...
@Tayclamation haha nice one!
shaft ?
guys, do you have flex your stick to the max then cup the blade over the puck then do you like a normal wristshot ? can someone tell me how
Put pressure on that shaft!
y does he shoot more from the toe then the heel does that make ur shots more accurate or something
@kodiaks74 where is it
i totally changed my shot after watching this video
from a young age, kovalev has learned to use his shaft.
hey when was the last time kovulchuk had any help? you dont win a stanley cup with 1 guy
@bruinsboy17 that sums the video up pretty well
lol kovalev, i love the little slips he makes in russian when he talks in english
they tend to break a lot, like a lot of other composite sticks, how many times have we seen the Habs miss a scoring chance because of a breaking stick! Habs Stanley Cup Champions 2008!!!
@TeamPablo Gold medal last year. 'nuff said.
oh dude i hear what ur saying but in georgia to play ice travel... it costs 4,000 a week....
cool i love it thanks for telling me how to shoot
@Tayclamation ye well I'm a Leafs fan lol
i think he could possibly have the hardest wrist/snap in the nhl....if not the most accurate.
More than Sakic you think?
1:17
Your power into the shaft so th- the shaft will produce the shaf- ahh.. sho~t?
Let him leave. NHL legend and he’s Russian
ohh and is he using arrior dolomite ?
3:14 wow
is that a wrist shot
That would be "Tucker, Darcy" you're looking for.
man Kovy looooves his shaft huh? :)
The real Kovy is kovalchuk , don't get me wrong Kovalev is a great p;ayer with amazing skills , but the wrist shot master is definitely Kovalchuk don't believe me search vids of him on youtube .
Both amazing players
Kovy saying shaft...reminds me Iverson saying Practice

Как такие броски возможно Лёха научи меня
@ajaxgotpwnd Huh? He's a legend.

warrior AK27
@gustavalmius 16 exactly

wow ...he took the shaft...and press on the shaft ..with the shaft...but he never forget about the shaft...and after he got more power and speed from the shaft because he took it very hard in his hand and he puted more presure on it LOL
we can hear his shots :S
All hands, no heart.
He is the best player in the world when he tries. Atleast he's not as bad as Yashin.
i voted for Koivu , markov and huet but i forget kovalev
LOL!! Nice comment!!
@kodiaks74 mtl?
Yes, but Kovalev is has the quickest snapshot
y'aime sa des shaft lui:P
