I think that it should be a priority for anyone moving out there to (a) find a place adjacent to somewhere good for bicycles, and (b) buy the bicycle. It gives you something to do, burns calories, and you can meet other people away from the bar scene. You can set yourself goals, and discipline yourself - two things you need in life.
I purchased a bike years ago in a store opposite Lumpini. It was B30,000 and free to ship it back to Sydney, Australia. Whil I don't ride it much anymore it sits like an art piece on my bedroom wall.
The thing missing from this vlog is the cost of BIKES, you could have covered budget to expensive, but left out the most important thing, cost. Showing the extreme high end was just not cricket without a budget option being included too.
The problem is many of the bikes don't have prices on them you have to ask the sales assistant I couldn't ask them to go through every single bike but basically they range from the cheapest model being about 5,000 baht to the most expensive being 75,000 you can get something half decent for around 10 to 20 I went for the cheap option
There’s loads of Decathlon branches in the UK Pete , I live in lutterworth East Midlands and I’ve been to one in Coventry and one next to the massive IKEA in Nottingham .
Hi Peter, I live around the corner from this shop in bangkok and I love it, and I thought the same as you but yes we do have these shops back in the uk
I've given the reason for no member stream last night in the post that I sent out to everyone last week the post is still active if you want to have a look at it
Was sitting in a Pattaya restaurant, heard Peter's voice and there he was in the flesh. Walked over and said hi; Peter smiled and shook my hand. A real gentleman.

How do you get a driver's license in Thailand?
Apply for it at the Department of Transport as you do in your own country
@@ThailandBound I hope you make a video explaining it step by step for visual learners like me
If you look carefully you will see I uploaded a video on how to get a Thai driving license over 6 months ago. I don't know what visual learner is?
@@ThailandBound awesome! I'll check it out
Are there many farangs that cycle on Bangkok's streets
Mainly in the many parks the streets can be quite dangerous in Bangkok outside the city then yes
Its a death wish to cycle on any street in Bangkok.
and the supermarket is all in English :)

I’d prefer a members’ stream to be honest.
