First there is no such thing as a part time heroin addict and second that has nothing to do with why he didnt get the job you said it yourself it was a age thing.So why bring up heroin?
I follow Marty, his albums are great. his music videos... not so much! But That's really cool that loomis has some light ties to Megadeth... My other favorite band.
I don't understand why everyone, including Jeff himself, keep saying he was 16 at the time of the Megadeth audition. It took place in 1989 and Jeff was born in 1971 so...? Sure, he was still very young but it does make a difference.
I really hope Loomis uses a 7 string for his solo Album.... Why bring him down to Arch Enemies level why not bring Arch Enemy up to his level. You wouldn't hire Dimebag and tell him to stop doing wamny dives!!!
i am glad he didn't join Megadeth. he has too much talent to have Dave tell him what and how to play. i loved Megadeth and Jeff but i think his talent would be too suppressed in that band.

rust in Peace is definently more technical than anything Arch enemy has ever done. just listen to lucretia and holy wars
guitar battles live or even listen to tornado of souls that track is extremely technical
