Mercedes GLA 250 Service B Exceeded

This video is to clear the Service B Exceeded by XX days on your dashboard message , as seen on Mercedes model(video based on Mercedes GLA 250, Could work similar on other models) . Usually indicates oil change . This video explains how to reset the message after you have done the oil change.

If i'm not wrong, Have you changed the mercedes emblem on the steering? If so, is it the get sticked on top of the original one ?

@@Lifewithkalani271 yes I have an update for you. Dealer wanted over $1,200 to just tell me what it was. I negotiated to $180 (hour work) so they will unofficially tell me that this is "related to weather change... more details after I'll hang them my Visa and sign $180. There was an alternative to pay $400 for oil change and they "might tell me that I need something". Both options didn't wotk for me and I left a dealership (Anchorage, AK). However, if you look under your car, there is your O2 sensor and hanging wires. I think I shaved one of them or all two because there is a lots of snow (still on March 3, 2020). If your RPMs are stable , then this is not O2 sensor and if you have no snow. This is something that Mercedes wants you to pay for. Could be a new gas cap but they and only MB dealer can reset the Check Engine light, I was told by the dealer. So, I was planning to try 1) Bluetooth diagn tool , which someone suggested on TH-cam. and 2) which worked 100% on my MB 320E before- BLACK Electrical tape (takes about 45 minutes and $1.20). However, solution. The real solution came to me on Friday, when I look out my window and I didn't see my car. I was stolen. Found a few days later and totaled by insurance. Bottom line: Mercedes... never buy this car! Hope you find this information helpful...
