I tried to drink as much water as TikTok told me and I didn’t sleep for 3 days because I couldn’t stop getting up and peeing. So to say, water intake varies for each person.
Not sure what TikTok said, but I did my thesis on hydration for youth in and sporting activities. And one of the articles stated you need to have at least half of your body weight in ounces of water. Which is obviously a lot and too much water can make you sick. so I try to drink as much as my body will allow it. But if you are thirsty and craving water, then you are basically dehydrated.
@@tiffanyb3147 exactly! I drink when I’m thirsty and I always have a glass of water nearby. It’s a good balance for me. When I try to overdo it because of some online trend, I’ll end up pissing clear multiple times (overhydrated)
Your body needs to adjust, so obviously when you go from drinking a little to a lot, you pee a ton more. If you gradually increase your water intake, you'll only pee a little more often, and even then it'll even out by the time you get to drinking a bottle that big every day.
I have that bottle, never noticed the refill issue. I guess its like those infinite soup restaurants that have the constantly simmering soup pot that never fully empties and has more food added when some is removed.
i love all the comments about how much water is recommended. it definitely depends on the person and those water bottles probably are made by people who still think the 8 cups a day thing is what everyone should be doing. i do think griffin might need a little bit more than he is currently drinking tho, lmao.
I don't use these sorts of bottles, for two main reasons: 1) they're kind of patronising, as Griffith points out 2) they're really quite heavy and difficult to carry around, particularly since I am disabled

When I was working out at home a lot I got a gallon sized one of those. Cause I think technically you're supposed to drink nearly a gallon of water if you're being physically active.
You collect the sediment (that we all naturally have in our water obviously) and when you have enough you vitrify it into an ash tray that you’re SUPPOSED to donate the proceeds from but come on honor system?
