I think the whole stressing about the div rather than just focusing on getting that line, that makes the difference. I dont care what div Wirtual plays in, I just wanna see good vibes and sick lines. This was a pretty important video. This problem is not just an issue for wirtual, but most content creators, and you even see it in sports. If you're not the best, you're a loser. Hikaru shared these feelings as well, how people view him, and compare him to magnus. Negative attitudes from people can really kill the joy in a sport or competitive videogame

A lot of people were talking about how the people who say "DIV 2 streamer" were joking or being sarcastic, but I have been in a similar situation. When a "joke" of this nature is told repeatedly, it stops becoming a joke. At some point, it feels like the "joke" is just an excuse to be toxic. I'm sure some people saying "Div 2 streamer" are not toxic, but it still develops a negative conotation, as it does in similar situations.
Never played TM a day in my life, but Wirtual is my favorite YT/Streamer. I think anyone who is passionate about ANYTHING will understand that 99.99% of players will never get close to Div 2. When div 2, it would be fun to have a challenge set for himself like play with controller. Then that would give a reason (in his mind) for viewers to stick around. It adds a spice to make div 2 "more interesting" Quotes and parentheses because i would watch him watch paint dry. I dont care about the div.

We are watching you because YOU are entertaining. Sure the high level gameplay helps but its not the main reason most of us watch.
The chatters that got banned were the people that make him feel the way he's feeling. He's aggravated at how his performance is perceived, and the people throwing it in his face got banned. What other purpose is there to type "Div 2" than to antagonize?
People need to remember that only 64 people make Div1 and there are a lot more top level players than that these days, meaning anyone could end up Div 2 on any given day if the track is not 100% to thier liking.

Well, Wirt has brought some of this on himself. He would chat up the 'coveted Div 1' and talk down on 'the other Divs', that it feels like he has come to believe it himself. If you listen to him talking for the rest of the match, he still talks down about being in Div 2, even equating it to being a level of Dante's Hell for COTD players. I remember watching his older videos where he would get Div 2 or 3 and still play his ass off trying to win. Now ... he just quits trying. It is as if the stream 'trolls' are are a mirror of his own thoughts.
For what it's worth, what I like about COTD is that during rounds I get to watch the whole map each time. I tend to lose interest on the "respawn every 3 seconds" grinds.
I played this track in COTD map review about 4 nights ago, loved this map. I'm newish to TM and not super good but something about this map put me into a flow state and I got AT and it was so much fun!

I think it’s extremely interesting that Wirtual basically has a very similar problem to Gothamchess. They’re both good in their respective games but both don’t do well under pressure. I think Wirtual is at a higher level in TM than Levy is in chess but needless to say that both get in their head too much and can still unlock their full potential.
That was a really technical track, you had to hit every turn pretty perfectly or the run was toast. I hated it, and was just barely able to get gold. But I felt good when I got gold...
