Aw shucks Rob, thank you my friend, I'm very appreciative of the people from all around the world I've met because of these covers. Thanks man, and God bless you with His presence..
I found your videos searching for Beatles drum covers last year, but I stayed for the worship drum lessons. :) Always a treat to watch you do your thing, thanks for the lessons!
rhythmantic - Sal D'Amato Hey dude - I have the BV kit with AD2, but it doesn't sound quite like this - have you adjusted it in a DAW/mixer? What changes did you make as they really sound great! Thanks
Nextor X BV is running through Logic Pro 9 with a separate channel for each kit piece. I then ran Toontrack's EZMix2 and BBE Sonic Maximizer plug-ins on those channels. It's then output through Apogee Ensemble audio interface. Thanks for checking out the cover.
Thanks so much. Glad you like the song. The kit is a TD20 module with TD-12 pads and cymbals. Good to hear from Belgium, a country I hope to visit someday.
Thank you Jacob. Yea, that would be cool for this tune to be performed by a drum line, imagine that in a big stadium. Thanks for checking out the cover.
Hi sir, Firstly that's a great cover of a beautiful song. I read that you used the Addictive Drums sounds on this kit. Have a couple doubts regarding using a VST with an E-kit. I use an Alesis Nitro Kit and I have EZDrummer 2 Demo. I am able to trigger the EZD sounds on my kit but the out is from the speakers of my laptop. If I needed to record or play live in the church, how can I get the sound to the Main PA system Mix. Is laptop the source or can I get it on my drum? If there are any other devices/gadgets you have used an interface, please let me know. Thank you
Thanks for viewing the cover. The simplest way to get the audio out to the sound board is by using an audio interface. I recommend Apogee's One or Duo. It connects via USB to your laptop; take a line out from its audio output and input that to a Direct Box which in turn go to a channel on the mixing console. Or take the line out of the audio interface and input that into your drum module and take the audio out from the module to the Direct Box.
+Alain DIOP Hi Alain, I get this question often, so on my YT channel page in the About Me section I put the following: Drum set: Roland V-Drums TDW-20 module with TD-12 pads/cymbals, VH-12 hi-hat & BT-1 Bar Trigger Pad. Apogee Ensemble audio interface, MIDISport 2x2. Logic Pro 9 Triggering any of the following drum samples: Addictive Drums 2, Superior Drummer 2.3, Steven Slate Drums 4, Studio Drummer, Abbey Road Drummer & Modern Drummer, Drum Masters2, BFD2, Ocean Way Drums. DW 9000 Bass & Hi-hat pedals Drumsticks: Vater, Vic Firth and Regal Tip Thank you for watching my videos.
+Alain DIOP Because I configured it that way for 2 reasons: 1. My purpose in having this channel was to share my love of drumming and of the music, not to be Liked or Disliked. 2. I used to have that feature enabled, but once I turned it off I noticed that I no longer receive mean-spirited comments that have nothing to do with drumming but everything to do with personality disorders. Thank you for your comments and for checking out my drumming videos. I'm much appreciative which brings me to this thought: You Tube is a community of people and a side-affect blessing I've received is the friendships that have developed with my viewers and other fellow You Tube Drum Cover Artistes and Cover Artists.
I liked it, but I kind of wish you would have pulled down into a regular beat at some point. For me ( and I am a drummer, 30 years experience) it became a tad bit repetitive. That kit does sound good, but it is a electronic kit, soooo, well enough said. Nice job, your timing is spot on. It's not easy keeping the same rhythm for so long.
That was the idea, to keep with the rhythm of the song. Most drummers get antsy and want to play a fill. If you noticed I did play a backbeat on the chorus and to my ears, the "regular beat" sounded out of place. Thanks for checking it out and for your comments.
Excellent…amazing drumming
I'm in the US, and I can see it. I like it!
Good to know, thank you.
The tom drum pattern is very hypnotic. Nice cover.
Awesome

Very disciplined drumming! Kudos.
Thank you checking it out.
Those drums sound awesome!
Yes, the "Black Velvet" kit from Addictive Drums is a very good sounding kit.
Wow, that was powerful, if I do say so myself. Dig the sound of that kit.

Again, great piece of drumming ! Nice song as well. Unknown to me untill now. Your kit, is that a TD20 ? Kind regards from Belgium !
Hi sir nice cover, why isnt it possible to see people who like or unlike your video? Did u put a setup?
+Alain DIOP Because I configured it that way for 2 reasons:
1. My purpose in having this channel was to share my love of drumming and of the music, not to be Liked or Disliked.
2. I used to have that feature enabled, but once I turned it off I noticed that I no longer receive mean-spirited comments that have nothing to do with drumming but everything to do with personality disorders.

rhythmantic - Sal D'Amato youre welcome my friend :)
Great Sounds here, which Roland V Drums Set are you using here?
is there a drum tab for the way you play it?
+joseph manalo No there isn't. I played it just by playing to the song's rhythmic structure and of course, being familiar with the arrangement.
I liked it, but I kind of wish you would have pulled down into a regular beat at some point. For me ( and I am a drummer, 30 years experience) it became a tad bit repetitive. hosanna please
There are least 3 covers I performed of Hosanna and are on my channel. Please help yourself.
NIce. Im trying to use more toms to drive the beat on some songs rather than standard hi hat kick/snare
