You're welcome. I use a TDW-20 module (TD-20 upgraded with Roland Expansion Card) w/TD-12 pads, VH-12 hi-hat. Most of my covers use sample software such as Addictive Drums (like in this video), Superior Drummer, Steven Slate Drums, Studio Drummer, Abbey Road Drummer series, Infinite Player, BFD2, and others. So if you're looking for a particular sound that I use, you'll need that software. I don't care for the sounds out of the VDrum module. Thanks for watching.
That is just wonderful Sal, I have watched all of your videos! I am a great fan of yours. I am a fifteen year-old drummer, and all my work and progress depends on you. I am a left handed drummer but I still learn from you, thank you for everything you do. I am a huge fan of The Beatles and I am just overwhelmed that you have covered maybe all of their songs! Keep up the good work, i'm depending on you :)
Hi Sarah, thank you for your kind & encouraging comments and I'm pleased to learn that my videos serve you in your pursuit of drumming. Feel free to contact me if ever you have any questions regarding drum set. God bless your drumming and thanks for checking out this cover.
More accurately, I use the VDrum brain to trigger sounds on my computer. "Master Picks", if you mean VEXpressions, yes, I have all of them & replaced most of the default Roland settings with them. They are uploaded via VDrumLib. Most of my covers are from memory. A few Jimi Hendrix tunes I used a chart which is available from Hal Leonard publishing. Occasionally I'll make a chart for myself, but then discard is after I cover it. If I could help another way, let me know. Thanks David for viewing
Sal - thank you very much for your wonderful videos and playing! You are a very fine drummer and I enjoy trying to learn praise & worship music by watching you play. I was wondering if you would consider playing two more praise pieces of music; they are: 1. "All of Creation" by Mercyme, and 2. "Tell Your Heart to Beat Again" by Phillips Craig and Dean. I am trying to learn these two and I know I would gain a lot by watching you play these on TH-cam. Thanks again for your wonderful playing.....God bless!
I'm glad to learn that my videos served your drumming. I don't know those songs that you listed and I cover those that I've played in church as it's time effective, since I already learned the song I then just turn on the camera. Keep drumming and may God bless your blessing.
Hi Sal, First of all let me thank you for shearing these videos. Also, after listening to them I decided to upgrade to Roland TD-12 (same sounds as your TD-20). Now with the new module I cannot figure out what settings need to be changed to get exactly the same sounds as seen on your videos. I understand you mostly use the V Stage drum kit with few adjustments. But please could you advise on your changes to the snare drum settings (sensitivity, etc.) and the cymbal names you use. Thanks, David
Thank you very much for the insight into this matter Sal. So you use your computer to play the TD-20’s sounds. Do you also have any experience with Master Picks that can be installed directly into the module? Now as regards to this (and other) video, I wonder if you have a transcription of the drum part too? If so, please could you possibly make it available for download somewhere? It would be of much help to get a better grasp of the groove being played. God bless you, David
I am so disappointed that they shut down all of your Beatles drum lessons. My Beatles tribute used to learn from them as the correct way to drum. I am very pissed at TH-cam.
+Tom Diab Well in America, the Beatles covers are still viewed in other countries. This has happened before and then they became unblocked, but this time I think it's for good and it may be due to the new You Tube Red.
+David Luis Durand Sorry, but this video is all that there is. At least you have the visual along with the audio, where I just had the audio to learn from. Keep watching it and be patient with yourself. Take it section by section, where most sections are repeat so you only have to learn that section once.
Brings tears to my eyes, I aspire to play this so well, excellent playing my friend! Beautiful song
Thanks again Sal. Always check in just to get lifted up. Always loved this song.
Love this song, and lots of other Praise tunes. Great jobs on the beats!

@larrylambert1017 Thanks Larry, and for being the first to comment.
Love this; have you done Revelation by Third Day? I was hoping to check it out. God bless!

+rhythmantic - Sal D'Amato thanks you
can you do drum tabs for this song?
+ross stephens
Sorry, I don't use tabs. If I do use a chart or notate a drum part it's done using standard drum set notation.
