Waste Arduino IDE is the official ide for Arduino which is more stable. Arduino IDE 2.0 has more features than the older version and CLION has none of it.

Great video. I have nine ESP8266 devices that use OTA. One disappointment on v2 is when going to Tools/Port, the list of devices show the IP address but not the name of the file that is on the device. I forgot how I got the file name to appear in the drop down list. Any ideas or suggestions ?

Right click and go to definition is an awesome feature.... i really love it because i know how the big headache is to find a library and explore it but now its very easy way... thanks arduino and thanks Sachin sir for sharing

Changing themes and selecting boards
Its good. Will switch to ide 2.0. if possible to recommend. Would like to suggest you sir using the white color theme when producing videos. Just suggestion, because most of time we are watching videos in mobile n computer in our leisure. So using dark theme sometimes hard to understand the explainations ad cursor was not clearly indicated

8:03 I didn't have the URL for the boards and I was not able to install them, maybe you can see them because you "Already have them installed" I can see on the Top right the legend "Installed" maybe that's why, but definitely you also need to have the URLs

Hiii Sachin, i have shifted to Arduino 2.0 but esp32 2.0 ( rainmaker) Board url is not working on preference.
Please help me with this.
Also when I shifted back to Arduino ide older version there also not working.
Unistall it and redo it again, I also had same problem using windows 10
@@nekhwevhatrust686 thanks but after that same problem, so i copied index.json file of esp32 from my other laptop and placed it in c:user/app data/ local / Arduino.
Now it's working....

Platform IO(VS Code plugin) already had these features from years. Arduino IDE 2.0 still feels primitive when compared to Platform IO.
And there is nothing new for the one who uses platformio

I find it absolutely disgusting that everywhere on the product page they dare to say that it's "faster" even though they switched to fucking Electron, and now it starts up super-slow, and eats up memory.
