I would say this song was super easy like everyone else here, but it wasn't for me. I could the 2nd and 3rd pages fine but the 1st page actually kills me every time 😅. Actually, I'm going to play this piece at NYSSMA today, so... wish me luck? 😓
Update: The date was March 4th and I got a straight up “1” on it. Didn’t get me to state but I’m impressed for the first time doing solo and ensemble and skipping straight to class A

@@lillianma7756 lol I’m the opposite. I’ve been told by my violin teacher I play beautifully and my piano teacher says I have great musicality, but I need a lot of technical work. Before covid I had actually been battling it out for first seat in a violin group I’m a part of with someone who had better technical skills than me but didn’t play with much musicality
Thanks! I haven't auditioned yet, it's nest week but I have indeed learned it. It is really hard, especially the double stop sections, but it is a really fun piece to play

They are not actually hard at all. It seems very complicated when you first hear it but trust me, it doesn't when you actually play the piece itself.
