- Hey everyone! Thanks for tuning for another video. I received a lot of request to make a "how to set up/tune" the 2023 Exsence DC. Everyone is going to have a different way but I find that this is the easiest way to dial in this particular reel. Most reels will be very similar - just follow the concept of maxing your brakes and dial down from there. Enjoy and make sure to drop that like and subscribe button!

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy my 22 excense DC, but Steez A II TW has a longer casting distance with the 20g lure. Both are great reels.

This whole time I thought you HAD to leave it on whatever line you have to the corresponding setting it has on the dc breaks. I would always keep mines on F because I only use fluorocarbon and wonder why I would never get the casting distance I wanted. Now that I know the lower you go from F it’s less braking I’m going to try it in my Antares DC. Thanks!

Actually bought the Antares dc and the Exsence dc.
Amazing reels and so much fun to fish with them, still learning about the reels.
But a full review and comparison of both reels would be great.

Got the Calcutta 100 Hg dc today, next on the list is the exsence or the Antares md, once you go dc you never go back !! Lol
Agreed! Once you go DC, you never go back. They are exceptional reels. The only thing that is close to it is the Steez line up.
Never owned anything from the Steez line up but I’ll definitely check them out !
