Great video. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy my 22 excense DC, but Steez A II TW has a longer casting distance with the 20g lure. Both are great reels.
@jeffzhang8233 That's interesting! What about 30g, a tad over 1 oz full force? Does it backlash (or gets nervous) easier than the Excence DC or similar with 20-30g baits in head winds?
@@andersriksson100 Steez A2TW cast further in all weights. No backlash if you setup the break properly. But it’s a steez, you know it’s not as durable as the excense DC
@@jeffzhang8233 Thanks for the input! - that Steez has an aluminium body and hyper drive so what makes the Exsence more robust - brass gears or? I have a 2012 Exsence DC for my costal sea trout fishing, 20-30g slim baits on a 9'7" 7-35g Salty Stage sea bass rod. Maybe I should try my Daiwa 21 Zillion SV TW 1000 for this distance fishing even though it has the SV-boost brake rather than the Z-boost ans see how it stack up against the Exsence...
New to your channel. Actually bought the Antares dc and the Exsence dc. Amazing reels and so much fun to fish with them, still learning about the reels. But a full review and comparison of both reels would be great. Looking forward for that video. Great channel.
This whole time I thought you HAD to leave it on whatever line you have to the corresponding setting it has on the dc breaks. I would always keep mines on F because I only use fluorocarbon and wonder why I would never get the casting distance I wanted. Now that I know the lower you go from F it’s less braking I’m going to try it in my Antares DC. Thanks!
Both the Antares MD and Exsence DC are on top of my most wanted list. This video sure helps deciding if i should adding it to the collection.😄 I believe there is an Antares MD DC video comming soon.

Can't go wrong with either!
@@ChewyThaoFishing i might get them both 😋
Got the Calcutta 100 Hg dc today, next on the list is the exsence or the Antares md, once you go dc you never go back !! Lol
Agreed! Once you go DC, you never go back. They are exceptional reels. The only thing that is close to it is the Steez line up.
Never owned anything from the Steez line up but I’ll definitely check them out !
What line are you using?
In this video, Seagaur red label 15lb test
Can’t find this model, other than sketchy looking websites, where’d you get yours?
Hey! You can actually find this reel on different websites. Digitaka or Asian Fishing Portal. Both are legit and reputable websites.
@@ChewyThaoFishing awesome thanks
Are these reels still being produced? I can't find any in stock??
On French traduc is better
Its good 👍🥸
