Wow, so interesting about how you have a hard time finding peroxide. I'm in Indiana, USA...I can go just about anywhere and get large bottles of peroxide. It's very, very common.

I am all about the big lip phals. If I saw minis like that at a grocery store I would probably buy as many as I could. I am impatiently waiting for them to be easier to buy.
I definitely feel like African violets do better if you send them as just leaves and let the person propagate from there haha Nice haul! So many pretty orchids

I have started purchasing the cases on Amazon which is a bit cheaper than the supermarket. (I have Prime, so the shipping is usually free) Love those pretty girls of yours, they are so adorable with each other!!
Wow those minis are so inexpensive! I wish orchids were cheap here too. The cheapest I've seen mini Phals sold over here is $10 Canadian... Not expensive, but if they were only 2 euros each I'd have a ton already! 😂
Huh I live in the USA i see them in my big chain department store all the time for around 2-5 dollars, I never figured they and the large ones that are around 12-14$ would be comparably more expensive in other countries.
I've seen a number of "big lip"/"big foot" phal variations over the years, and I regret not buying any of them! Next time I see one I have to get it. I think they are super cute! I went to an orchid show and sale for my state's orchid society last fall and saw a tag for one at one of the vendors. Before that I had no idea what they were called. I think it was Yu Pin Easter Island big lip hybrid. I've actually seen ones similar at my local trader joe's! They all had slightly different lip shapes/sizes.

Just found your amazing chanel! Would you reccomend putting a phalenopsis in a cocopeat/perlite mixture? I recently bought a few phalenosis and cymbidum plants that came in that mixture and i am fairly uncertain...
Love how you imagine your girls are so judgemental of you XD it's very funny and sweet, and I love their perch in the middle of the room! And I couldn't find hydrogen peroxide at all here, so I ordered on ebay, and I found larger bottles for quite a reasonable price, so there's a tip for you :D
Hi, Danny, I usually buy 1L bottles of 3% hydrogen peroxide at hospital supplies shops. Here we have common pharmacies, but also some stores specialized in higher quantity of supplies, like masks, surgery gloves, dressing gases, etc. Maybe there are these in Cyprus. I think you should also ask about it in beauty salons. Hydrogen peroxide is used in a lot of cosmetic interventions, like clearing and dying hair, so perhaps they also can tell you how to get it. I hope this could be useful. Happy growing and have a nice weekend!

Hi, that was a thing we used to do as kids 😂 never worked on my hair, but on kids with finer, lighter hair it worked a tiny little bit. Hair saloon peroxide is very different and when it comes to hair, better leave the professionals do the job if you're not sure what you're doing, trust me! Just google 'at home hair bleaching fails' and you'll understand ☺️

I ordered for the first time. From eBay, ordered in September 2 phals. They came from Poland. To Mexico. They came Jan. 11,2020. Not to say what kind of shape they are in. No leaves. I put in water. They have roots but the crown was too dry. I planted them in bark. Watering and the roots are now nice and green, hoping they produce a baby. I was so disappointed. They said they do international shipping. Most companies will not ship to Mexico. They refused to pay me back. One was Hot KISS. The other was suppose to be BeLinda.

Female birds lay eggs without needing a male but it will only be a fertilized egg if a male bird fertilizes the egg before it is laid.
