Can someone please tell me what a "low" setting on a stovetop that goes from off ( a zero) to a full boil (which is a ten)? What number would "low" on such a scale roughly be?
All these so called copy-cat cracker barrel carrot videos never show cutting through a finished cooked carrot. That's because cooking only 30-minutes the carrots are still hard as a rock.

I haven't seen baby-cut carrots before in a can, but they would work.
