    You found mostly Mako, the longer slender teeth. Walking the beach is relaxing. You found some Bull shark teeth. 👍

    I loved your video. I too like the hunt for sharks teeth. Myrtle beach is my go to beach, sun and teeth. Once a year to recharge.

    Thank you so much for your shark tooth hunting video. It is great 😊. We are from WV and absolutely love hunting shark teeth at Myrtle beach, it is our absolute favorite thing to do while we are there. My daughter and I will be coming there in about a weeks. I know you can find them everywhere, but as a local... can you please give me some ideas of where we would have the “best luck” finding shark teeth?? I have read that the best places are between 50th Ave N to 20th Ave S which is a really long stretch of beach. I was just hoping you might know of a more specific place that would be good. I appreciate any tips. Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you soon

      Hi Lori and thanks so much for your comment! My best luck is usually found between 2nd ave pier and the springmaid pier! You will have to walk in the water to get to the springmaid pier at low tide but it’s worth exploring! I hope you and your daughter have an amazing time in beautiful Myrtle.

    I haven’t tried that area. We usually search the Garden City area. Guess I should expand my horizons.

    • @hannahw111
      @hannahw111  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes definitely expand! I never gave that much luck in garden city. The heart of Myrtle has been my best luck always

    Really cool video! I don’t know anything about sharks teeth, are they black because they’re fossilized?

    • @hannahw111
      @hannahw111  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they are fossilized! There are many other different fossilized things you can find on the beach too!

    • @danielleblack8249
      @danielleblack8249 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hannahw111 yes of course! I just had no idea there were so many fossilized shark teeth in S. Carolina!! Makes me want to visit!! Thanks for the video!

    Can you find shark teeth in pawleys island

    • @hannahw111
      @hannahw111  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can find them all along the grand strand which includes pawleys. I haven’t had much luck there though because the shell beds can be very different/ seemingly non existent compared to Myrtle beach/ North Myrtle Beach. Best luck hunting and remember it’s just about having fun!

    So do you use a screen basket also

    • @hannahw111
      @hannahw111  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sometimes I do but I have found the most effective way in Myrtle beach to find teeth is to search what’s already washed up

    You mean star fishes

    • @hannahw111
      @hannahw111  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They are commonly missed named star fishes. They are not fish. Sea star is a term used by scientist to describe echinoderms.
